Cake Poker's software allows players to resize their tables. It's very clean and most clients are tastefully coloured. It's possible to change the table colours, but currently there are no external mods. If there is nothing on the client to your taste then your only option is to try a skin with a different colour scheme.

Conventionally any poker room that accepts Americans is slightly tougher than their European counterparts. Cake does not allow the use of HUD's & tracking software, isn't tracked by PTR and does not run many promotions to incentivize sharks. There is no table limit, however.

Cake enjoys over 1,000 cash game players online during peak hours. PokerScout ranks cake as the 20th largest poker network in the world so it's got some way to go, but if you play small stakes cash games you should have no problems finding a game. 

Due to the fact Cake Poker hosts American players on their network it cannot be considered particuarly safe. If you are European it's prudent to play at a room with segregated funds and that does not allow American poker traffic.
