Lol @ me asking if its £2k per year! Obviously it's per month, think I was half asleep when I wrote that aha. I am just curious to know what you meant though because if you are renting somewhere in London for £2k per month, you will be needing a very good income and from your post, you seemed to be saying the opposite?

Yes London is very expensive compared to other places in the UK, from my experience anyway, just anything and everything is 2 or 3x what it is where I live (about an hour or so south) I bloody love London though, there is something special about it for me and I would love to live there one day! CrazyCookie: Per year viper lololol £23k/month :') you can get places cheaper than £2k/month but honestly, my girlfriend and I are scraping by ATM and make 35k combined (before tax). We live outside London in a two bed flat (£950/month) bills then take that to about £1200 food £1400 travel to London take to £2k and after tax we have about 2.5k/month. £500 on any other expenses and that often gets spent!

Well, man... I was wondering... "WTF? 23K per month average?" LOL

I imagine 2k for a rent per month must be a lot there. But I just mentioned a random number (withouth knowing entirely how much a rent is there) because as CrazyCookie was saying 23K per month was average (thats what I understood Rolling on the floor laughing then I just mentioned that number lightly.

£950/month! I live in a 2 bedroom flat, 15 min walk from Glasgow city centre and I could rent this place for £550/month. Big difference.
