There was a dramatic end to Day 5 of the 2018 Main Event as a big storm in Las Vegas caused a power cut to the Rio and the surrounding areas late on, so organisers made the decision to end the day early and have the 109 remaining players bag up and return today to play Day 6 as scheduled!

Chip leader right now is Michael Dyer on just over 12million chips, but there is a host of big names still in the running including former champion Joe Cada and 2018 bracelet winner Shaun Deeb, with all remaining players guaranteed at least $91,000

Popular poker coach Ryan Leng wins his first WSOP bracelet in Event #51: $1,500 No-Limit Hold'em Bounty for just over a quarter of a million as well as a host of $500 bounties for the knockouts along the way to victory!

Scott Seiver overcame an All-American final table in Event #52: $10,000 Limit Hold'em Championship, to win his 2nd career WSOP bracelet and adds just under $300,000 to his $23million in live tournament earnings! Scott hasn't played many events this year but has managed a 2nd place as well as this victory so it has been a successful series for sure!

There were some big names on the final table of Event #53: $1,500 Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better, with Daniel Negreanu, Eli Elezra and Mike Matusow all making the final 9 from the 935 entries, but they weren't able to stop Joey Couden from using his 2nd biggest chip stack at the start of the final day to win his first bracelet!

In a new addition to the schedule, Portugal's Diogo Veiga was able to take down Event #54: Big Blind Antes $3,000 No-Limit Hold'em for his countries first bracelet this summer, and third ever! A jubilant Portuguese rail saw Diogo continues his hot streak as he gets another $500,000+ win, following his final table finish in the partypoker Millions Grand Final Barcelona main event back in April

109 hopefuls became just 26 in Day 6 of the 2018 WSOP Main Event! Aram Zobian finished the day as chipleader with just over 41million, over 10million ahead of 2nd place. Out of the big names, it's only Joe Cada and Sylvain Loosli still in the hunt. The remaining players are playing down to a final table of 9 right now!

Event #55: $1,000 Tag Team No-Limit Hold'em broke records with a massive 1,032 entries this year and it was an unlikely Germany-India partnership between Giuseppe Pantaleo and Nikita Luther who both take home their first WSOP bracelets and their share of $175,805!

A big field of 2,065 entered the 1 day Event #59: $1,000 No-Limit Hold'em Super Turbo Bounty, and the cards kept falling the right way for Filipino Mike Takayama who wins his, and his country's, first ever WSOP bracelet!

A host of big names created a nice prizepool in Event #60: $10,000 Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better Championship, but it was a nice win for Phil Galfond who can celebrate winning his third bracelet after celebrating the birth of his first child recently! The $567,788 payday takes his total live career earnings to just under the $3million mark!

Another 'online' bracelet was awarded in Event #61: $1,000 WSOP.com ONLINE No-Limit Hold'em Championship, which again broke records with 1,635 entries creating a prizepool of just over $1.5million! 180 players were paid but the lions share goes to American Ryan 'Toosick' Tosoc who turns his $1k into $238,778 after 16 hours on the online felt!

Event #62: $888 Crazy Eights No-Limit Hold'em 8-Handed always creates a bumper field and this year was no exception as a huge 8,598 players entered the field, and it was no other 2011 PCA Main Event Champion Galen Hall, who after holding the chip lead at the end of both Day 2 and Day 3 was able to ride his chip stack into the final day, the final table and ultimately the win for his first WSOP gold!

Just 6 now remain in the 2018 WSOP Main Event final table!

Joe Cada is still in with a shout of making history but has a battle on his hands as Michael Dyer has claimed a huge chip lead, with his 156,500,000 chips over double that of the 2nd chip leader Nicolas Manion!

All are now guaranteed $1.8million, and it's going to be a huge day for someone as the final table resumes any minute now!

Another record was set, as a huge 480 players entered Event #63: $3,200 WSOP.com ONLINE No-Limit Hold'em High Roller, but with a huge $341,598 and a prestigious gold bracelet up for grabs, online pro Chance 'BingShui' Kornuth put his skills to the felt for glory.

After a ridiculously long heads-up match lasting nearly 11 hours, the 2018 WSOP Main Event finally has it's champion! Tony Miles put up a huge and exhausting battle for the final day but overcoming the 2nd biggest ever field of 7.874 entries, and winning the huge $8.8million is John Cynn

John wins his first bracelet but it isn't his first main event deep run as he finished in 11th place just 2 years ago in the 2016 main event, just missing out on becoming a coveted November Nine member!

China wins it's fourth bracelet as Guoliang Wei takes down the popular Event #68: The Little One for One Drop - $1,000 +111 No-Limit Hold'em, which this year saw a nice 4,732 entries and a very international final table with no less than 6 different countries represented in the final 9!

Dutchman Ronald Keijzer is usually exclusively a PLO cash game player but enjoys the odd PLO tournament, so made the trip to Vegas mainly for Event #69: $3,000 Pot-Limit Omaha 6-Handed, and it couldn't be a better trip as he takes it down for his first gold bracelet and a nice $475,033 to go with it!

It was an amazing night for none other than Phil Hellmuth himself as he wins an historic 15th WSOP bracelet in Event #71: $5,000 No-Limit Hold'em. Bouncing back after his Controvesial exit in the main event, he seems to have won the fans back in a packed Brasilia room, putting on a showcase display coming back from a short-stack to defeat Steven Wolansky heads-up

It was two firsts for Jordan Polk in Event #72: $1,500 Mixed No-Limit Hold'em/Pot-Limit Omaha 8-Handed as he wins his first WSOP bracelet on his first ever WSOP final table after running well against Daniel Negreanu earlier in the tournament
