We want to fold the flop when we are beat, have no equity or think that we cannot bluff our opponent. When on the flop we should evaluate our hand and see if we think its worth continuing in the hand with, for example top pair is usually a very strong hand to have. When we are check raised here how comfortable do we feel with our hand. In terms of our opponents value range we are crushed and can only really beat bluffs. If our opponent has loads of bluffs in his range then we can call, otherwise it is better fold.
