MinerBoy23: Hey guys I haven't checked in on this thread in a while. Just glancing over the past post or two by Jon and it looks like there's still turnover of players. How has the overall results been the past few months? Posting any profit?

Hey buddy

December - Profitable 3 figures.
January - Loss 3 figures.
Feb To Date - Up €55.

Yes still a turnover of 2 players. We lost 2 of our longest serving ones which really sucked but I saw it coming for months however one of them just nudged me wanting to start back in March which is cool.

We have 2-3 new guys in the team now which I think really helped the current lads as they have more chat in the Skype group.

Also still looking for more!

So the lads are doing super well and we are still showing a profit for Feb and looks like it will end this way!

+€221 so far.

We also have 2 new players starting this week and one more coming in next week. Which will take the team to a total of 7.

Exciting times!

Indeed, sounds really exciting! I hope that it's all good news from now on and that those new players will crush!

GL! Hope you guys ship it big!

More exciting news is a player has been upped to 20nl today after his first 8 or so days with us! He tbf was good enough from the start to play 20nl but i like to just build a little trust and break new people in gently. I have no doubt he will go onto crush.

@Jon-PokerVIP The hype train has no breaks!!
Hey, If I want to apply and ONLY grind HUSNG (and maybe Spin & Gos), how many games should I play before applying? I'm planning on completing my first 100 HUSNG matches soon and the results look more promising than my 6-max results =-p
Besides, you can actually track my HUSNG results with the tournament ID Wink
I've been looking into more training videos and articles on HUSNG =-)

More importantly, how many would I have to play per week to be kept in the team?

This sounds incredible, I'm glad that all are going well, GG guys!

cheers

I would just submit your databases and vids to Jon and get talking with him, if you haven't already. I thought a lot like this as well. I was mainly playing 2NL and a little 5NL. I put my stuff with Jon and got approved and the guys at VIP got me on 10NL to start and over the first 5 or 6 days I am doing pretty decent and feel pretty comfortable.

I think sometimes we are our own worst critics. We think that maybe we aren't good enough for a certain level or whatever. I know that is how I was. I do understand that bankroll and comfort levels with pot sizes etc do come into play, but all that being said, if you want in, just start talking with Jon. When you get staked bankroll management doesn't come into play any more LaughCool

Its definitely worth it. I'm lovin it so far.

Hey buddy

Sadly we only stake for 6 max nlhe cash games. I wouldn't even know where to start when it came to HUSNGs.

So the team is doing really well and I am super impressed by them all!

Up over €100 this month, all chatting in the Skype group and most of them active on the forum! What more can i ask for?!!?

So I figured I would share this with you all as well i doubt the person in question will ever be back here and it just kinda sums up the troubles with staking and how people can treat us.

Cliffs

- Staked for 6-7 months
- Paid quickly each month
- Moved up 4-5 times with no success
- Did everything he asked.
- Always had excuses to why he couldn't do such things like posting hands.

So this player abruptly leaves due to having bad internet. I have to say i didn't believe this. I would imagine he tried to play off his own roll or try a new staking site.

Anyway he nudges me saying he is ready and i genuinely forget to reply, he nudges me again but is offline when i go to reply and then the 3rd time he nudges me and basically says "i want to rejoin but have less commitments and not post on the forum, i have a training membership (to some random site) so i will learn there and win money". I say no thanks and wish him luck, he gives me some sarcastic reply so i explain that when someone comes back from bailing they should be energetic and basically saying they are going to crush - if he said this he would now be rolled. His reply to this was to block me.

So it is just another member who we pumped money into who bailed on us. IT really does tilt me.

Rant over

Pity about that @Jon-PokerVIP but don't beat yourself up over it mate. You do a great service to so many players on here that you shouldn't lose any sleep on the bad apples.... although I understand that bailing on you like that would indeed be infuriating, especially when you put time, effort and $ in to these guys.

Still though, the early posts this month indicate the team are going well so onwards and upwards. Go team.

Yeh bud cheers for that. Just the instant blocking thing is like "well this guy has no more use in my life".

Anyways we move on and continue to crush

Meh, why do people even do this .....

I may be interested in staking, but first I want to increase my database and see how far I can get with what I know and what I'm learning so far.

Are American players eligible? I play on ACR-just curious for the future.

@shoveandsee Hey buddy sadly we can only take on players who are eligible to sign up to BetVictor which rules out any US guys sorry!

However we have always been tempted to try to run something on ACR type sites so keep checking back on this thread!

Hey Jon Dont know if this is a good thread to post on but will ask you anyways and if place is inaproprate please move it somewhere else.
Are you also doing coaching for profits ? Dont look to get staked but looking for a decent coach who could help me to improve and I am willing to give decent chunk of winnings to him as payment for a agreed period of time.
