Forced bet

There are different types of bets in poker. One type of bet is known as the forced bet. Forced bets include such things as small and big blinds, antes, and any bring-in bets. Players who are faced with a forced bet must pay or not play in that particular hand of poker. Forced bets are used to keep the action moving and to ensure that there is always at least some money on the table for the winner.
