Monster

The word Monster in poker can be used with regards to either a hand or a pot. A Monster hand is a very solid starting hand, such a pocket Aces. A monster pot is a pot that has a huge amount of chips in it.

e.g "I wouldn't have won if it wasn't for my monster hand."
"This is a monster pot! There has to be at least $12,000 in there!"
