Staking

Staking happens when somebody pays for another player’s buy-in as an investment. Staking can be done for 1 or 2 games, in which case the staker (also known as backer) will receive the a big portion of the eventual profits (maybe 90/80%). However, it is best to make long-term deals to reduce variance, spliting profits around 50/50 between backer and player.
