I could be wrong,but sites use IP addresses to determine location. Wether a guy used false information in changing dob/name slightly etc there accounts still would be 100% declined for playing due to the IP address being uk registered or European.To play they surely must be US residents or a resident of whichever country is registered.

Thanks for your message and I am glad to hear you enjoyed season 1 of OPL!

I totally get why this seems unfair and I can try to look into it for you, but really this is going to be very difficult for us to determine. The decision has been made by BetOnline and if that is the rule, then as you said its very unlikely that we can do anything about it. I would imagine if there are people playing on there which should not be allowed, they will too have their accounts frozen at some point.

Unfortunately everyone who plays OPL will have some restrictions on what rooms they can play at but we just need to make the best of the ones we can get in on

Well to be honest, considering the email I got from BOL that clearly states that one player may only have 1 account on Chico network, I really don't see how this is hard to determine, players clearly used some method of deception against either Tiger or BOL and you should email those rooms and tell them about the issue and ask them to confirm if the players used different names.... That said I guess if there is nothing you can do I will just say thanks again for the league etc.... But I really think this ought to be resolved for future seasons, as it is very similar to an American player all of a sudden playing on William Hill - it is against the regulations and should be strongly discouraged and in my opinion sanctioned too, as I for one was some 7-10 tournaments at a disadvantaged against these players, who are European like me, so unfair is unfair and I would like to see future seasons avoid such issues for the sake of all players.

Also, being able to access a player's usernames somewhere on the site would be nice, as now it is really hard to know who is who and this would make things more transparent.

To make myself clear I don't mean to jump at anyones throat here, I just wanted to turn your attention to what I think is a not that small of an issue, as it gives players who have BOL accounts (somehow) much more of a chance to win the league and get another win or top 3 score that other guys don't get to play for. What is more, don't think this is at all pokervip's fault, but rather that some players are abusing the league to their advantage and I'm sure we all hate to see such things happening.

Season 2 we are hoping for Mid Fed but the schedule has yet to be finalized. Will report back once done!

Just seen the season 2 opener has changed from $1000 to gadget added. I'm actually pleased as it hadn't occurred to me it's on valentines so I won't be playing anyway. Gotta get my romance on...

Is the schedule published on the site final? Won't be any games on FullTilt?
I also think that SkyPoker is not the best choice. They accept only UK and Ireland players. So these tournaments will probably have the smallest field and huge impact on leaderboard (since most of us won't be allowed to play).

Few tweaks to be made plus some extra rooms/tournaments to add.

Correct Full Tilt will not be part of season 2 and yes Sky Poker has been added along with 888 and more to come!

Does the leaderboard still show total points or has it been updated to show top 10 results? Will the updates talked about at the end of season 1 come any time soon or is it more likely for season 3?

Your BetOnline account is fine to use, tournaments are Sunday's but ACR are not participating these season unfortunately. You are in the US right? We are hoping to get some more options for next season for US players though
