Hi everyone! We are super excited to announce that Online Poker League Season 5 is set and ready to kick off running from March 1st - 31st with a huge $25,000 in added cash and prizes!

What Is OPL?

OPL gives players the chance to compete for huge cash prizes throughout the season and for overall season leaderboard prizes. All tournaments are streamed live on Twitch where players can get together to battle it out and join in the banter with our fun and friendly community.

- $25,000 total added
- 43 MTTs each with 50-100 buyins added in cash to the prizepool across 8 different poker rooms
- Gain points towards the leaderboard for each MTT you play
- Your top 10 points results count towards the leaderboard

Yeh new rule introduced last season - anyone, with any account, tagged to any affiliate or room can play. Just enter your screen name as you normally do, play, win and get into the leaderboard. SIMPLE!

Quick question - why has this really great idea - the OPL been ruined by having the games open to non affiliated players.I mean it has been great in previous seasons,but seriously 1500 players in the Party game?? 75% of that number have just seen a freeroll in the lobby and regged.Never heard of or even looked at Pokervip.

Haha well it is more the freerolls and not affiliate tag which is the issue for these which I understand. Remember these are just the opening events then we go back into the buy ins and smaller fields.

From a business/brand pov think of it this way - rooms get more players to start, more people learn about the opl, opl grows, more rooms come aboard and we add more money. I want this to be a $100k added league one day and this has to help!

Yes Party is a bit of a shit show in regards to the monster field so just don't play this one and get in the weekend buy in ones etc.

Oh also rooms like this cannot just let people in with affiliate tag only. Passwords are the only way which work and don't cause issues so regardless it's just one of those things.
