Here is what i feel is a pretty interesting spot and i will walk you through my thought process

so im in pretty early position with 89 suited and i decided to open 89s and get min 3 bet by a tight weak reg i have a few hands on, im ranging him with AJ+ 55+ suited connectors when the 2 guys over calls i could go for the 4 bet but decide instead despite being out of position i have a decent edge post flop with a hand that is usually going to be very easy to play even oop and flat

so we flop j j 7 with a sraight draw BD flush draw but nothing much else, he c-bets and thinking about his range he could have a jack in there but im mostly putting him on pocket pair`s above a 7 so i decide to float with the intention of bluffing river if he checks turn (which is pretty likely after i call as i would with trips or better) and probably folding if he continues to barrel

So on the turn the ace of diamond comes giving us more out`s and is also a scare card unless he is holding a jack or pocket aces, when he makes his bet i almost folded but then i began to think more about the hand,

he is betting very small most likely trying to get some thin value but the range he is legitimately repping here is jacks full - aces full - quaded jack and sevens full (very small range of his holdings) - i also think he is capable of having qq kk 1010 here and just a whole lot of nonsense so i went in to the tank literally for like 25-30 seconds weighing up what his range looks like what my range looks like and what my check raising range looks like bet sizing and if i think he is capable of folding decently strong hand`s and i came to the decision he is but if he does not fold here im giving up river 100 %


i could go on all day about what went in to this hand but im not guna, just thought it was a interesting spot and wanted to hear other peoples opinion`s on it
