BB 3bet range vs SB open

Posted 7 years ago

I am playing standard 3 bet strategy from bb against sb open, i am 3 beting hands for bluff a2-a5 of k2- k6 of, some qx hands sometimes q2-q5s,, 94s 104s ect, but i notice when i call 3 bet from sb and when flop comes with 3 cards between 5 and 10, i can bet everything against reg, because i know he doesn't 3 bet 56-910, and never has nuts, so i m thinking to start 3bet hands like 67s and calling 4bet, to protect my 3bet range on flops with 3 cards between 5 and 10. Your thoughts guys.

It doesn't work like you said, if you bet 67 and the flop is 722, you'll end up losing a good amount of money when they have an over pair.

I might have read it wrong but did you say you will call a 4bet with 67s?

yes i did say that, but i change my mind, i figure out its easier to 3 bet pairs and jam some times when sb 4bets, and i also figure out 66 is best pair to do that, because 66 closes wheel.

If you are trying to achieve board coverage on medium high boards I think hands like 86s 57s 64s 58s 47s 79s J7s does this the best. They will not have very high EV when we call so dont mind too much taking them from my calling range.
