Is it true Ivey backs Antonius and Trickett?

I'd be interested in how you maintain a good mindset playing some of the toughest guys in the game. Did you need to develop a strong mental game as you progressed or have you always been able to stay focused?

Thanks a lot for taking the time to visit us, we know your time is limited so sparing us some is very much appreciated.

Hello Mr. Cates, how you doin'? I play low stakes Turbo HUSNG's.

1. Question: Everyone is saying online poker is dying. Does this refer to high stakes or to all stakes in general? What would you recommend to a microstakes newbie who is just starting but getting good, positive results - to keep at it or to use his time in a different manner?

2. I have a hard time when I make a mistake in a SNG, how do you cope with it? Do you forget about it and keep playing, analyze it later or right away?

Thanks & Bye!

Hey Daniel,

Where did you get your poker knowledge from? Was there any particular site, friends, poker software? And what is the best way to improve your game according to you and what should someone be focussing on who plays microstakes and want to play higher stakes?

Thanks a lot Daniel:)

Hi Dan,

Thanks for sharing your pearls of wisdom with us all
My questions;
1. What for you is the hardest thing about being a pro
2. Would you have done anything different in your career, if so what?
3. Do you exercise?

Thanks

Jungleman:

The most reliable way to play full time is to actually build a roll from low stakes while playing, or play and have results over a consistent enough sample. Winning a tournament is fairly meaningless, and jumping into games you have not proven you can beat might lead to disappointment!

How and when is it proven that the game is beaten...? with a big variance of poker tournament?

Can you show us some cool pictures of parties, your house, babes you've dated, or any cool activities you like doing outside of poker? (Like skydiving, scubadiving, African Safaris, etc)

Hey Jungle, thanks for doing this!!

How much would you say (per day or per week) you spent studying poker when you first decided it would be something you wanted to do as a profesion? What do you think are the most valuable things/ways to study?

Massive thanks again!

Hi Jungle, big fan of your work. You have done pretty well I think thats clear but with instincts for people, mental discipline and grasp of complex evaluation you could have done well in lots of things. So why Poker?

And the follow up to that is now you've smashed it up a bit and earnt all the dollars what keeps you on the edge and interested enough in the game to not want to go explore something else.

Also, favourite C&C unit? I always had a soft spot for the grenadier. Useless bastards but I loved them.

http://www.pokerhandreplays.com/view.php/id/7532473 should i go play one drop now? Kappa. this is a hand from a live £10 rebuy tourney. do you just sigh call or is this a relatively str8 forward fold? also what do think about checking top set on this flop, rainbow but it might be a bit too connected to check. i definitely like checking in this situation if board is A93r imo

not sure if i should say the proteges, but they are fairly obvious and apparently have quite battling me

plan for the future by learning other games or doing things that are not poker

i would quit do something with more potential for sure, and this entire time i have been looking at other possibilities

I think Scott has a massive ego and is unaware of how obnoxious he is, especially considering he constantly twists facts to make them more appropriate to Seiver vision. That being said some of his ego is justified (yes hes good at poker and is smart) and hes not an evil person (whatever that is worth)

There is not really some online history, it was mostly the result of scott being scott and me getting mad.

I would actually stream if it made sense to, I might try it in the future

Hello Dan, what's your opinion about PokerSnowie? Should I use it for learning theory or should I check more expensive options like GTORangeBuilder, etc?
