Only if I had a cent for every failed new year resolution my friends told me. Actually, I never made any.

My plan is simple enough: go with the flow. If you're on the right track, you can always find ways to improve your lifestyle. If it needs a resolution, that's already too bad and wont change anything.

1 month in how's everyone doing?

One month in so I can finally post my resolutions! I want health and creativity to be the theme of this year and I have some very specific, big goals I want to achieve:

- I will finish my weight loss journey at sub 100kg bodyweight.
- I will deadlift 4 plates before the end of the year (180kg or 405lbs, I thought about making it 5 plates, but 4 should be hard enough given that I'll probably spend the first 5-6 months of the year cutting weight).
- I will make and release my first EP (fingerstyle/ambient guitar).
- I will make and release my first video game.

I have a bunch of smaller, well-defined goals centering about my job, finances, daily routine etc. but those aren't nearly as interesting. I wanted to create music and games since I was a kid but I never allowed myself to seriously pursue that and since I'm not getting any younger it's probably a good idea to finally try!

@MattVIP I was impressed by the deadlift goal, then WFT?! Just gonna release an album and make a video game. Are you like a Mark Zuckerberg/Terminator hybrid? I'm in awe Bowing

Well, first of all, those are just goals. It's possible that I'll fail to meet all of them (though I'll definitely try my best). Second of all, nowadays you have an abundance of tools so making a game or releasing an EP consumes far, far fewer resources (time/money what have you) than it used to. Besides, I have no idea if my creations will be any good. So yeah, big goals and I'll be super happy if I achieve them, but I'm loooong ways away so let's not get ahead of ourselves Wink That being said, I appreciate your response.
