I really want to be Professional

Hello there.

I agree to the forum in Turkey. Since my childhood I have a great interest in the card game. About 4 years ago I met poker. I was playing poker are times when I can not get bored at home during college years. Then I started to learn poker is a game that can be developed gradually. I started playing at PokerStars SNG and bought myself a book. I slowly developed my game but I did not never come to the level I want. Although this did not satisfy me successful in my Advanced Micro SNG. I wanted to be the best so I continued learning. I was a successful player in particular turbo SNG s. But I was weak, I'm going back to the previous level in the mental aspect. Then a shock decision, the Pokerstars close its doors to Turkey.
After this news was no more sites in Turkey could play SNG. I thought about quitting poker, but I could not. Because I want to accomplish. Mental bought books to improve myself next to poker. I Development of Poker was a big change about my life.
Convinced I'd managed to rebuild about 1 year ago, I started learning the game CASH. I knew I'd make it this time. In the beginning, everything was going very good. I was doing Bankroll Management. I see poker as a second job, and I acted as his own boss. However, I have encountered the same scene. I lost a big part of my safe again. I took part and spent.
After that I spent my time at a great personal development. Meanwhile, I continued to play a little poker. And today I read in a book he wrote that 'what you want to accomplish Get ideas from people who have already succeeded.' I know that there are very good players in this forum. I want you to help me in this regard.

-I m a civil engineer.
-8A I - 6PM Work Time
-At Least two days to my girlfriend
-The Moment € 400 bankroll.
-8bb / 100 10k hands of NL10.
- -7bb / 100 10k hands of NL20.
-I Really want to be a grinder in NL100 €.

Please guys. I really want.

Hey Barkn,

I think you have come to the right place. PokerVIP is full of great videos and articles from some of the best in the game. You can also post hands in the line check forum and get feedback from other players and coaches. I am sure Jon or one of the others from the site can tell you other things you can do, like making a video for review and stuff like that.

So what site do you play on at the moment?

Your win rate at 10NL is pretty good vs the win rate at 20NL. Challenge is they are both over a very small sample size. I am no expert, but based on what I have read and heard, 400 euros is probably about the minimum you would want to have for 20NL. To me it would seem more logical to continue to play at 10NL and get a larger sample size to know if you for sure can beat 10NL and that the 8bb/100 over 10K hands is not just a lot of running good. I don't know what number that would be, but would seem to me you would want at least 50K hands if not more.

It seems like you have a good routine and schedule as far as work and play and social time go. With the time that you do have available to dedicate to poker, how much of that time is study and how much is play?

Only other thing I can say is be patient. I wanted to be grinding 100NL yesterday. My obsession for wanting to move up fast actually hindered my growth. I was just playing and trying to force everything and wanting to win so bad that I wasn't taking the time needed to learn and grow from mistakes I was making, as well as internalizing all the information that I had swirling around in my head. Sometimes you need to take a step back and take a deep breath before you can move forward. As with a lot of things in life, as far as I know, there is no "easy" or "fast" way to get really good at poker and the time it takes to get to the various levels is going to be different for everyone.
