I'm Gxtwo (obvs)
In my early twenties. Ive been playing a few years, constantly stuck at the micros.
Currently playing 6-max NL10, after i stepped down from NL20 because of withdrawing moniezAttached Image
I live in scotland, right between Edinburgh and Glasgow.

Any other micro players kicking about the forums?

Great idea GxTwo, let's get everyone introducing themselves here!

I'm in my early twenties, and part of the team here at PokerVIP, so some of you probably know me by now. I've been playing poker since I started university 4 years ago, although not ridiculously seriously.
When I do play, it's usually MTT's/SnG's when I feel like it, or 50NL ish.

I'm hoping to get into the live scene more soon, hopefully a mixture of events and some cash locally.

YO! im jon, 25 years old (26 soon) played professionally for almost 7 years now, had varied success but like most finding it harder and harder each year. Now joined the PokerVIP crew to work on the community and entertainment side of the company. Loads of interesting stuff coming up which im really excited about, will be posting alot of it in the forum so keep an eye out.

Poker wise im going to continue to grind on evenings and hopefully get close to 100k hands in per month (average month pre job was 180k hands). Its a bit easier now to put in volume with speed/blaze poker running.

I play mostly nlh 6max cash but dabble in tournaments here and there. Now living in Edinburgh so will be checking out the local Genting casino soon also for some live games.

Hi all,
i am a 24 year old computer science student and no limit heads up player.
I switched from NL100 6max to NLHU and really enjoy heads up play. I play NL100 and NL50 now on various sites to get good action.
So far I am crushing the games and hope to move up soon Smile

Hey Mr Margo,

Just out of interest, where did/are you studying Computer Science? I graduated from CS this year from Heriot Watt University in Edinburgh!
What rooms are you playing on at the moment?
Posted 10 years ago
I am studying in Lübeck/Germany at the moment. Only have to finish my bachelor thesis to get my bachelor's degree.
At the moment I am playing on Stars, FTP, Ipoker, Merge. I think I will add 888 to my rooms soon because I heard there are some juicy games.

Ofcorse its just a "baby tiers" , but when i was under 18 it gave me confidence .My vision for my future is to finish school in good , start studying at IT university and keep developing like poker player.Greetings to all.And many thanks for advices in future :).

WELCOME! Great to have you on the forum! Have you been using our poker school, poker training videos and viewing our HH discussions? Are you playing mainly online tournaments or do you play any cash games also?

Maybe would be a good idea to start a topic in our My Poker Journey thread. You can have it as your own personal training centre-uploading videos of yourself playing/commentating and having others analyse your play! If not make use of our HH converter and all our other threads and topics. Smile

Anything you need feel free to get intouch.

Hey Guys. Just a quick one to introduce myself to the community.

Names Steve from Leeds in UK. I'm 31, and am playing NLH and PLO cash primarily. Odd MTT's thrown in especially sunday's.

Grinded pretty hard a couple of years ago now, when I worked for myself - Cash games $15/$30. Had to get a proper job and withdrew funds when children came along! Smile So playing mainly as hobby around work but trying to up my hours to a decent amount in near future.
Play all over but currently on IPoker as its far softer than Stars and the likes. Been playing around 7 years total.

Looking to learn and get involved in forum community.
