Just to say a quick Hello to all Poker VIP'ers and introduce myself properly:

- 44 year-old geezer from NE of UK - played (mostly recreationally) since 2009 - used to semi-grind STTs with 5%+ ROI up to 7s on Stars - not much success at mtts, although I enjoy playing them a lot - struggle with cash-games as I find them a bit of a 'slog' really - like to play other/mixed-games sometimes, especially 2/7 SD and Razz - not much live experience, tho' I have played at DtD in the Amateur Champs, and with Joe and Ross from THM in a £100 mtt at the Mint a few years ago (bubbled it) - mostly play HUSnGs (some spins occasionally) and mtts on Sundays these days - been meaning to come over to here for a while, but the OPL 2 has provided me with the impetus to 'bite the bullet' as it were.

Cheers Guys - great site and promos, as well as lots of solid training materials - also like the fact that it seems to be not all 'young-'uns' on here, so i don't feel such an auld fart! Wink

I've been playing off and on for years. I'm currently trying to grind up a roll at ACR playing freerolls, the 100 GTD, and 6max 2nl. I'm always trying to improve my game. I'm glad I found this site. I hope to learn new things and possibly help others.

Hi i'm chris 40 ish living in the UK and i been playing poker for a few years and id like to move up the ladder a little, currently back playing 4nl
and starting from scratch and giving my game a complete overhaul.

All my time has really ben spent playing at the tables so id like to think the volume ive put in stands me in good stead to now go to the next lvl with my game. I'm going to be putting in around 10-15k hands a week likely 4-6 tabling , never been a fan of mass multi tabling . When you get to my age you'll understand why Laugh so here's hoping you can teach an old dog new tricks.

Look forward to getting and giving feed back on hands and fingers crossed a vid review of my game , it would be nice to know exactly where my game stands at the moment.

Cheers for reading.

Chris.

Sounds like a good plan! Not often do we hear about people grinding it up from nothing anymore so you are my hero!

If you are interested in really high value added tournament and leagues check out the Online Poker League which you can check out the information for Here. Over $25000 in free money added!

Hey bud welcome!

Yep we will for sure get a review of your game done! Just pop your name and info into the Thread.

Which site are you grinding on?

I am not far off 30 and understand the lower amount of tables and volume situation! I went from a 24 tabling whizz kid to an old man grinding 3 tables.

playing on Betfair at the moment Jon and a little on BetVictor , i have already posted in the thread for a review , but there's no rush it seems you have a bit of a queue at the moment to get through.

Nearly 30 , you mean in your 20's , if i could find the face palm emote you would get it Rolling on the floor laughing

Cheers for the reply mate , look forward to the review.

i work in casino industry from 2006 but i never dealt texas holdem in big circuits, i mostly deal roulette and blackjack ,which are much more better then texas holdem to work with cause when i dealt poker i always wanted to stay on the other side of the table Cheeky

Betvictor is , unfortunately i made the Betfair account a couple of weeks ago before i found this site , spoke to RTR and Betfair and cant swap over to here for the deal , which is very understandable. Betfair seems to be the best right now for micro stakes because of the 35% + 10% and every little helps while i'm learning, ipoker seems fishy enough.
