I am a 37 years old man from Portugal.

I play only in PokerStars, the only legal site to play here in Portugal. Until now i have been playing only with Play Money (i know, sorry

), primarily "cash games" (play money).

I want to start playing with real money (micro or low stakes) but before that i need to better understand so many things.

When not playing or studying poker, i play a little bit of chess and some times i read about programming video games (one day i will create a successful game).

PokerVIP has many videos and i think a good course to get started.

Let's see where can i get in the Poker World.

Hi Everyone! I played ridiculous amounts of poker from 2008-2012 and then entered the real world of employment. Hi Mate. I played up to 200NL and a few thousand hands of 500NL and did pretty well for myself. Any thoughts of turning it into a career were squashed by my girlfriend and family though!

Im self employed now so I have an abundance of free time to play. I play smaller cash games upto 50NL and some 100NL and multi-table SNGs on stars. Started to really like live poker now too when I previously detested it! Prefer live cash and mid-range buy in MTTs.

Thought I'd introduce myself, been primarily an online player for the last 2 years apart from a few vegas jaunts and the odd drunk 2am session mainly played 2nl & 3nl online.

Decided to see if I can actually play, so I've started playing live (whilst sobre) as there's lots of value to be had live. I'm only 10 minutes by tube from Leicester Square so have access to Empire and the Hippodrome.

I've been playing £1 / £2 sitting with £400 which is the table max, last 4 sessions at the Hippodrome:

+£319.50 - 4 hrs
+£168.00 - 2 hrs
-£62.00 - 2.5 hrs
+£171.50 - 4.5 hrs

So up just shy of £600.00 for the 4 sessions, which if I can keep this up is a nice little side earner........until I donk it off on the baccarat table or with the dancing girls ☺

With patience and playing TAG I hope to keep these results up, after a few more sessions I will look to open my range up and hope to see the ££££££ role in, or I'll end up another broke ass ho'.

I've been playing on a Friday after work, but as I live outside London have to be mindful of the last train home so am somewhat restricted on how long I can play. Going to try and mix a few Saturday's in so I can play longer.

I am Thomas from switzerland, 26 years old. Today I am posting my first ever comment on a forum after being reading them for 10 years ! What an exploit ! What made me write here ? Well to be honest, it is one of the only website that is not blocked by the firewall of my company

I got a warm welcome on the chat by AshVIP and I wanted to give it a try, to finally be posting on one of those forums that helped me so much to learn how to play decent poker.

I currently play on PS, cash game only, have been fluctuating between NL5 and NL50 during the past years. Nowadays, I do play NL10 and 32-multitable. I will try to be active on the low limits threads and might, if you guys are interested, talk a little bit more about the multitabling in the journey section.

My game of chouse is NLHE and I am currently in the micros as I try to actually learn how to become a winning player. I have played on and off for the last 10 years with pretty poor success but I just love poker.
