GhostStriker88: its not a over night process

You can say that again , i been playing online on and off for 16 years and i still feel like i'm not better off than when i started.

I have actually been on a good win streak @ live cash. My last play was a tournament that I was doing well in and got myself into a revise odds situation and paid the price. I am actively trying to do better in these situations and this last one I think was the icing on the cake to just push it home on what a HUGE leak this is in my game.

I play at Poker Parlor, or anywhere they have a good game!!!!

Hi all,

Finally getting chance to say hello! To cut a long story short I had to use the support chat to get my email verified so I could post, couldn't work out what I was doing wrong 😄 luckily keri in chat sorted it and here I am! 😄

My names Tom Wilson and I am 29 and from the UK, I am currently playing 2NL zoom 6 max on stars( through choice? 😂 ) and I have just recently invested in poker tracker 4, I love watching poker streams on twitch and just love learning anything to do with poker. I'm hoping to get posting on the threads now and learning a lot along the way!

I hope someday through hard work and study I might be able to play at the higher stakes! I know I've come to the right place to help me achieve that! Viewed and learned so much in my first month of visiting the forums and love the friendly atmosphere! I just wish I had joined a year or so ago!

Thanks in advance for all the help you will give me 😄😄😄

Hi, I'm Nuno from Portugal (we are regulating online gaming, meanwhile we're not allowed to play online). I've been playing poker since 2008 with some months of hiatus in between. My main game was the $2.50 180man on PStars, I've managed to get a bankroll to play the $8 as well, but not for a long time due to my nitty BRM and a toward risk-averse personality. Played some MTT's on PStars at weekends, the most significant result was a deep run on a SM 10th Anniversary for $6.7k . At some point I've decided to change to Cash games in order to improve my pos-flop game, went from zNL2 to zNL16 but after some months got burned out and stopped playing at all and a few months later poker was shutdown in Portugal. I play some live MTTs , never binked one but managed to get some ITMs. I'm looking for a nice community to discuss about poker and decided to give this one a shot. Let's all help each others and improve our game.

Aged 24, playing NL holdem, stuck at the micros until I build up a decent bank roll.I am hoping to move into MTT soon as well, but first need to learn some theory and improve my game!
I got into things through a friend who has made a decent secondary income through online poker.

Have been quite active on the forums here i guess without introducing myself, lets make it short and quick:
Kanaxis here from Germany, random 22 year old computer science student who tries to win big at poker, have been playing for 1,5 years now.
Started at nl 2 on stars, all the way to nl 50 ( nl 2 , nl 5 , nl 10, nl 16, nl 25 )
Most of the roll i have is made from live poker, i play regularly in homegames nl 200-400 and am rolled for them, alot of the winnings are spent for poker coaching to improve my online game, as i am very unsatisfied with my winrate for micros (3-5bb/100), the struggle on nl 25 zoom stars has been real ( 2 bb winrate over 200k hands ).
Currently still playing nl 25 on stars as i want to finally create a winrate and work out a winning graph with coach. and playing nl 50 on microgaming, which is comparable to nl 10 on stars in terms of softness ( speaking about zoom ).
Also have been part of the staking team for PokerVIP, failed hard at nl 20^^
Like the forums for talking poker, as i dont have friends in real life to talk to about, especially the poker journey part, hand review section i dont really like that much as i am reviewing mine on a weekly basis with coach.

Cheers,
Kanaxis

Hello

Lucas , from Brazil , I'm 29

I play poker online for 4 years , still stuck on microstakes , playing zoom nl10 on pokerstars. I'v done a coach and it helped me a lot but obviously I still need to study more and more to get better. I hope I can improve a lot here on PokerVip

I'm computer scientist , worked in the area for 3 years but just got tired , lots of stress and i was not liking it, so now I dedicate full time to poker, so lets make it happen !

No such thing as failing in poker - only learning!

Good luck
