Hi Everyone!
Just a quick intro!
My name is Daniel, I have recently lost the love of playing Poker! My lifestyle has become more healthy and so called friends who cheated in home games for thousands of pounds have been cut out my life. I used to love the game of poker, the joy of hitting a 2 outer on the river and outrage when that happened to me.
I thought this would be the best place to start out on returning the game I loved!
I really dislike playing online, I get bored/get distracted by other things and end up just losing money whereas when I'm at the table I'm focused, engaging in table talk and enjoying myself.
When I first started playing a few years ago I began playing a local casino tournament but quickly learnt there is much more money to be made consistently at the cash game table but after about a year I drifted towards playing tournaments again just simply due to the joy and excitement gotten from winning a tournament; stopping up until 4am felt better when reaching a final table and finishing 2nd for £350 in a £30 that sat grinding for 7 hours earning £200 profit.

So yeah thats my poker life in a few paragraphs!
I live in the midlands and prefer to play live poker like I said so anyone wanting to go to events and split petrol costs etc more than welcome to message!

Woah what the hell happened with the home games?

Simple if you don't like online poker - Don't play it! Find some other sick games locally or even start travelling and just enjoy it and make tons of money.

People were caught fixing decks so it was cooler over cooler. We were all friends with one another travelling to poker events but it just proves some people value money over friendship and those people will never learn

I'm a reg on Stars (different name) who mainly plays Spinners at the moment. However I've been looking for a secondary site for the occasional change when I get bored and to hopefully run up a little bankroll. Just for the challenge of it and a bit of fresh entertainment. If I bust I bust, no big deal.

So I decided to sign up to PokerVIP and then join Coral through here for the bonuses (which I think worked?!). Plus I've never really been active on a Poker forum so thought I would change that, and maybe take advantage of some of the training stuff on here.

Got off to an okay start on Coral. Loaded up all the free MTT tickets I received and came away with ~£100 after a deep run in one of the tournaments!

Now to start hunting some Pokemons!

Well, got 5th in the Pokemon. Not bad for a first crack!

TBH I'm already picking up bad habits on Coral because I seem to be winning with my C game LOL. It's a lot different than Stars that's for sure!
