mafibulates: Hello everybody!

I'm glad to have found this forum, I used to be a member of 2 + 2 a few years back but it seems to me that it's gone a bit downhill since.

I've played amateurish (probably being very very generous here) for years and I'd like to take a good go at poker, to build up a bankroll so I can withdraw some extra £££ for beers/treats/holidays etc.

I have watched a few of this sites videos on youtube and I've now subscribed to see them as they are uploaded.and I must say they have been very educational and beneficial to me.

Anyways, that's me.

Hi, all, what an incredible poker resource this place is. I actually discovered PokerVIP by accident!

I'm a 44 year old UK-born Aussie, just getting back into poker again. I had to quit poker because of back problems in my late 30's but now that I'm at peak fitness again sitting down for an hour or two is no problem.

Looking at the wonderful videos here I understand there's quite a lot of work ahead to re-organise my nitty c.2010 game into a solid modern player. Time to study!

My name is Andy and have just started to learn Poker...never played before.

Currently on 888 at the micros ..... learning and studying - basing my starting strat on Blackrain79's crushing micros.

Making loads of mistakes and trying to get a grip on putting opponents on a range of hands ... but getting there.

Happy for any advice on building my skills ... have a goal to get to $1/$2 within 12 months if possible.

Decent start this season mate!

I quite like the Tigers, we used to be very similar in terms of performance, stadium, crowd etc and always get a good game and I do love going to the Jungle, good atmosphere and decent fans.

We are doing a Leeds this season.... started off ok tonight but just, I don't know what is up with us this year, nothing going our way and everything just going wrong! No prizes if you guess where I'm from

Have a look around Google.

They do not like players withdrawing, very little money actually ever comes out of 888 once they have got their hands on it.

Anyway, if you do play there, I sincerely hope everything goes okay for you and you don';t become a victim of their funny business.

I echo Jon, lets get you off 888 as soon as possible! There are so many better options with much better rewards for players!

It's great that you are in the UK as we have so many more options than lots of other countries so we really can get you a top deal.
