Small Pairs vs. Shortstackers

Wondering if you dudes could help with a common problem I face preflop

If we see an open raise from a fishy 35+ / 10ish (VPIP + PFR) player with around 40-80BB's... Should we be calling 22-66 in position if no aggressive players behind?

We're not getting the odds to setmine... Is our postflop advantage enough to call? Although, I don't imagine we would have much fold equity as they will call streets with any piece and draws...

Was always unsure about this

Cheers!

Low pockets have not enough clearance (I hope it is the right word^^) to exploit certain tendencies and weakness, especially with short stacks. Just fold and call some more hands with highcards.

If they have 80 BB I think you're fine, esp if you are IP and they are predictable postflop and you can steal from time to time. but 40 BB, fold is best. But if the OR is even nittier, say 35/5, then it's a lot easier to setmine, esp cuz they're telling you they have QQ+, maybe AK, and they never let go of big PP or AK if they hit. If the pfr is 3x, I think 50BB is around my cutoff point. I know that is a little lower than what the maths say, but it's made up for by the fact that you are almost guaranteed to get their whole stack.

I stoped calling 44 ,33 ,22 because of reverse inplied odds it can generate , from almost any position , is this a thing ?
