Before I clicked on this thread I was expecting a Kindle magazine or something.

To be honest the only magazines I used to buy were Men's Health. I'm quite surprised people still buy magazines with so much digital stuff floating about. Don't get me wrong either, I love holding something to read over watching it on a laptop or Kindle.

Where do you work bud(if you don't mind me asking)?

As for me, the only time I pick up a magazine is when I'm boarding a flight or getting my hair cut.

What's cool about a lot of the current mags, is that you get access to a digital copy of the mag if you're subscribed! So if I'm out and about without the physical copy, I can just log in and start reading! I love having a load of content already organised and ready to go instead of thralling through sites for articles

I work as a Graphic Designer so a lot of my projects would include monthly/bi weekly magazines. Our biggest publications would be Bike Buyers Guide + Farm & Plant Buyers Guide here in Ireland. Similar to the likes of Autotrader. I used to be heavily involved with an Irish poker mag too! Player Ireland! But unfortunately, it wasn't a massive seller I LOVED working on it as you can imagine!

Yeah definitely! Bluff & Card Player magazines are the only ones you might come across on occasion in Ireland but quite hard to find. The mag was going quite well for about 2 years but guess what? Copy sales steadily declined around Black Friday haha

I work for a design company so I don't offer too much freelance stuff although I definitely should at some point. I need to get a personal design portfolio together online, it's just such an effort to begin haha

Got a feeling my Mrs is getting me a Card Player subscription for Valentine's. Looking forward to reading it.

It's actually really good! I've got 3 issues so far and there's some very interesting articles in there including one that really helped me understand range merging!
