Hello everyone

I'm one of the developers for PokerVIP. As you probably noticed when you logged in today, PokerVIP has a new look.
With this upgrade we have not only updated the look of the site but also the way things work in the background. The site should operate in the same way it used to, but it will perform and hopefully look better.

Because of the scale of this upgrade it is possible that some bugs might show up. We've been working hard to make sure we catch and fix as many of them as possible before release, but if you happen to notice something not working as intended please leave a reply to this thread and we will do our best to get it fixed as soon as possible!

Any problems even if small guys and gals please post in here as detailed as possible.

@vas.pokervip is the genius behind all this so he can make the magic happen!

Site looks great to me, no problems so far.

P.S. I really hope you look like that, it would be awesome!

@vas.pokervip When you go to https://www.pokervip.com/coaching-videos , it will show that every video has 0 comments and no reviews, although there are.

Love how the profile pic shows on the @ tag

Made a deployment a few minutes ago, Poker rooms in the dashboard should now be fixed.

There are some more fixes done (for example there should be a hover effect on mentions now)

I think the notifications are broken but apart from that everything looks good, althoughhhhh I keep struggling to find the box to type to reply lol

Again thanks for the reports guys, all these should now be fixed.
That includes the notification message. Sorry about that.. Some old code slipped through it appears.

In 'Notifications', my PMs have multiple copies of the same message.

Also, 'Insert Image' didn't work for me when I went to post a screenshot of it. I can 'Browse, but neither Drag and Drop nor Browse and then click Insert worked.

I do have a PC that runs on wishful thinking though.

@vas.pokervip It seems like when you click on a new notification, it leads to the first post of the thread, not the new (last) one. I haven't had the opportunity yet to check it on threads with multiple pages.

My badges and who I have followed have disappeared, also I had all my poker rooms again.

Its looking good though.(y)

@Pwll The bug that showed multiple entries of the same message should now be fixed.
About the image upload - I'm aware of that issue and I'm trying to fix it right now. [Edit: I have partially fixed this, it will be back to working order tomorrow morning since it requires some work from another dev]

@MilfGrinder Notifications about forum posts should now take you to the post in question and not just the thread.

@KrisyBubble22 Your badges should now be back.

Upgrade looks great, well done. One thing I've asked for; is it possible to make the site remember the last post we read in threads, and then when there are new replies, having a button that takes us to the first unread post? This is pretty standard on other forum solutions, would make reading a lot easier. I know notifications kinda does this, but it would be nice to have this opportunity for all threads.
