REasons to me TO play POKER SERIOUSLy

Posted 7 years agoEdited 7 years ago

through this post I will try to explain in detail the reasons why I decided to play poker. Previously I told them I'm a professor of chemistry in high school, i work 36 hours per week and receive an salary in VEF 40.000.. in usd is = to 37-40$....

I will make a comparison so you can imagine the situation as to the quality of life we are facing now THE Venezuelans.

a basic product for all, at breakfast or dinner. egg...

in Ecuador the minimum wage is $ 366 and the city basin an egg costs 0.15 USD .. in other words. a minimum wage in Ecuador would be 2440 eggs ..

in Colombia's the minimum wage is 760,000 (Colombian pesos) and an egg costs 350 Colombian pesos .. in other words the wage in Colombia is 2190 eggs.

In Panama, the minimum wage is 600 usd and the value of the egg is 20 cents ... if the worker collect eggs, eggs would win 3000 MONTHLY

in Venezuela the minimum wage is $ 34000 VEF around 33 usd in any city an egg costs about 150 VEF about 15 cents USD ... if the salary is calculated in eggs, eggs have 226 monthly .. or 39.9 usd .. . a Coke for 2 Lts hamburger costs $ 4 $ 2, $ 5 meat. chicken $ 5. lunch for two at a good restaurant $ 25-35

is my question::: how many eggs you can buy with your salary in your country? It wasn't me!

if you see from the outside is relatively cheap .. everything but the value of our currency is nothing for which it is very difficult to live winning VEF ..

For this reason I am taking poker seriously as main job. earning above $ 80 monthly usd is something better for me.

the nows goals are to try to win at least 150 to 200 $ usd monthly ...

I hope the person who has taken the time to read this article realize that I am taking very seriously the issue of poker so every dollar q me play, I spend, or invest me .. is highly valued by my...

:Pgreetings and good luck ..

Hey AtomJapo, I didn't know the situation in Venezuela was that bad and I don't really advise anyone to play poker professionally, but I think it would actually be better if you did after learning how to play.

I'm not sure how much you know already but please watch the poker training videos on the site and I'm sure you will be able to make $150-$200 per month easily after rakeback.

What stakes are you starting at and how much you played so far?

Ha I love this way of looking at it

I just googled the average salary in the UK and it comes to - £26,500 = £2,208 per month

Each egg apparently costs: 20p

Total eggs we can buy per month = 11,040

Unexpected and interesting topic. Normally, I wouldn't advise anyone to just 'go for it' and become a poker pro with very little experience, but given the peculiar state that the Venezuelan economy is in it might actually be a sensible course of action. I don't know if I'd quit by day job outright, but playing poker on the side is certainly worth it and if you're serious about learning it making 100-200$ a month can become possible fairly quickly.

Have you ever thought about doing Data entry jobs sites like Freelancer and Upwork, you can get some jobs at $5-15 per hour for like design, excel entry etc. I think that may be a better way to generate income over poker

Hi guys.. It's been a while, I'm back to tell you a little bit and update the blog ...

First I have to tell everyone that yes, officially i renounced to my work as a chemistry professor at the high school. These last weeks I've been focused on team Faultier, studying a lot about poker. They have helped me a lot and I keep working, learning and studying, growing daily as a player and as a person in many respects

On the other hand to have them aware of the situation of my country. It hasn't improved anything at all. Taking the step to devote myself to poker was a wise decision. The salary has increased in the local currency, but by making the change to dollars, we are really in a deeper devaluation ...
The minimum wage in USD $ is maintained more or less in the same proportion. Between 30 and 40 $ monthly. However the cost of the things is a little higher.

For my part, I am now more stable, keeping me focused on the future and the present of what I do, I am very motivated as I am also studying English, which I aspire to communicate and make more feedback in the community ... Soon I will publish some anecdotes of a little trip I did about poker and I hope lese like the comparisons I'll do about poker and economics. greetings to all who have taken the time to read and follow the blog. A big hug

the last month i could no get my goals bcs i had couple days without internet.. this time the criminals stolen the Internet fiber cabling and hurt with the communication services our comunity...

the last month i lived with a teammate in teamfaultier wilfred.. we are living in the "grindhouse" hehe
studying- playing... working hard to improve.. its a good experience share daily with him.. the enviroment in the house its amazing...
our friends support us, our parents and girlfriends too... so always we have and found good motives to keep working hard...

yesterday we installed the new stuff office for him.. and this looks amazing..

for may these were my numbersAttached Image

my goals to this month "june"
1. Primarily rearrange Effective and selectively my schedule time for study-grind.. reach at least 10 hours weekly to study
2. install the electrical engine to cover the electrical cuts..
3. Make a sheet to planify the schedule games daily
4. Maintain or increase my ev bb/100 > 16
5. reach at least 25K hands in mtt.
6. update my blog at least 2 times per week
7. start meditation daily with intimind.es app
8. start the gymhome sports at least 2 times per week
9. take advatage of my free time to renovate energies in other things that not involve poker... (family, sport, friends.. social live)

greetz...
