Hahahaha SuperVIP - Buying this domain now lol

@Harvie No man not into Macs at all tbh. I am a windows baby and find it very hard to do/want anything else but that. I guess I would get used to it after a while but I am happy with this bad boy!

^how do you use that @colly191091?

Is this the hipster way to drink coffee? Cool

@Harvie Its a drip coffee maker, you poor the water in the top when it has a filter full of coffee in it. Then chuck the filter away and pour. If you like a long coffee its the best value thing out there I reckon.

If you like Espresso style coffee (and then you can make all other coffees as well) you've got to get on the Aerobie Aeropress. Its like £20 and its better than any other coffee maker I've ever had. Really easy and low mess like the one @colly191091 has bought. Not as pretty to look at but I think its beautiful in its functional design and simplicity. For the money its a slam dunk win. That and a cheapish hand grinder and you'll be making coffeeshop coffee at home for total investment of like £35.

@Harvie Yup! It's pretty hipster alright haha Drip coffee, through a filter! It's meant to be amaaaaazing! The special filters cut out pretty much all the unwanted oils and residue so it's meant to be a super clean cup. Plus it looks awesome! It's actually on display in the Museum of Modern Art in New York.

This is how it's done

@thetallpaul Aeropress' are great! As well as the French Press! I have both at home too.... As well as a machine hahaha This Chemex has pretty much finished my coffee brewing collection Cheeky #CoffeeNerd Any beans you would recommend Paul?

I basically choose something different every time I go in. I also have some store bought ones always in the freezer so I've got something halfway decent available when the fresh ones run out and I've not got time to get some more.

Recently I've been bouncing around East Africa. Some good stuff coming out of Rwanda, and some Ethiopian ones I liked. Sorry but I never remember the names, I just go in and choose a different one, or ask the dude what he's got that's new or interesting.

Currently I'm out and I'm using prepacked ones. They are still OK though. A mate of mine gave me some fresh roasted beans he had done the other day in the BBQ and they were absolutely incredible. Apparently a lot of the 'quality' is in that speed of roast to cup. I'm going to have a go at roasting my own beans I think next. Not hard to do but very tough to do consistently I think. Something to do when the weather turns I think. Steel plate over BBQ or Chiminea when we are eating outside and just dry roast them until they crack apparently.

@colly191091 So how's the chemex compared to the french press?

Deadpool costume is a great idea. Then you have to be a sweary drunk and you can just say your a deep character actor, like Christian Bale, Daniel Day Lewis or of course the heavyweight of heavyweight actors: Ryan Reynolds.
