@CycleVancouver You can draw parallels between this video and many different parts of life (including academic world which is a bit scary to be honest). Basically, there's so much info out there that you can make even the most outrageous claims seem plausible if you try hard enough.

Also, battle of the bastards. Get hype!

That was the lesson of the vid, narrator laid it out at the end that this is how any conspiracy theory can sound plausible.

I'll wait for the Brits to watch Ep 9 before opening up the conversation.

OMFG - this was the most epic battle scene ever. genuinely changed my mind who I thought was gonna win about 4/5 times. And I genuinely wouldn't have been surprised if Ramsey won.
Also I LOVE the scene with Rickon. I absolutely LOVED that episode. Was fucking amazing. This is the reason why I fell in love with the books in the first place. So happy with how they did it. I cannot heap praise on that episode enough.

Kudos to review too Laugh

Who on earth runs in a straight line when running away from a guy shooting arrows at you?

People are raving about the last episode and I'm not trying to rain on anyone's parade because it was kinda awesome. I just feel like cleaning up Martin's needlessly long string of set-ups introduced some pacing problems in the show (we're getting payoff after payoff). Anyway, the episode also generated a bunch of memes and here are some of my favorites:

The payoff saga continues... and I'm fine with that. GoT was never really my kind of story (I prefer the intimate ones with big themes in the background), but I still enjoy it a lot and I feel like the showrunners are doing the only sensible thing they can.
