Game of Thrones is back and it feels like we're going to get a bunch of payoffs that previous seasons were setting up. The season premiere was great and I can't wait for the next episode.

Decided to give Prison Break a go. Finished season 1 and really enjoyed it.

I'm now watching Suits season 6. Man I love this show.

Oh and so far, Preacher season 2, is fucking awesome!

@jongordon84 Preacher season 2 is indeed awesome, but it also makes me self-conscious about my preferences. Turns out that as soon as you slap some yellow tint on a game/movie/tv show I'm immediately sold! It's entirely possible that my brain cares more about the color grading than the merit of visual arts.

The Defenders is dropping next week and I'm a tiny bit excited given how I liked all of the Netflix superhero shows and two of them were noticeably above average quality wise.

I'm way behind. Need to finish Luke Cage and then watch Iron Fist.

Luke Cage has a very specific style and while it had mostly good reviews it's still a hit or miss kind of thing. Initially, I wasn't a huge fan of the show but it grew on me. Iron Fist was received poorly but I enjoyed it regardless. Both shows are considerably worse than Daredevil and Jessica Jones in my opinion but still well worth a watch if you're looking for some fun action.

I really liked Luke Cage, Iron Fist is comfortably the weakest, but I'm a massive marvel geek at heart, if you look in my vids there's a captain america figure in the background, cannot wait for the Defenders!!

Well, Defenders was a really weak show. It wasn't even fun which was very disappointing. Fortunately, Netflix has a bunch of other amazing shows like Ozark. Such a wonderful piece of television. It's a bit like a cross between Breaking Bad and Banshee (though with less pulp and no action sequences). Very smart and gripping drama. I highly recommend it.

Second that on Ozark, loved it. I think you're right that its's a mix of Breaking Bad and Banshee. Certainly has that Banshee town feel but less extreme and graphic. I hope they follow it up with another season.

Blue Planet 2 started last night with the magnificent David Attenborough taking it to another level yet again. Watching a fish jump out of the sea and catching a flying bird just reminded me of how little I know about my world.

Off the charts.

I'm sure everyone and their mother heard about Stranger Things by now, but if you missed it somehow boy oh boy have I got a binge for you! A must see TV show for everyone who grew up in the 90's or is old enough to remember the 80's. Nostalgia porn of the highest caliber.

Also, something interesting actually happened in The Walking Dead!

Another helicopter... so that wasn't a mistake in that episode last season from the trash area with the plane/helicopter which is visible for a minisecond??

@AshVIP I think I'm done with The Walking Dead. I haven't seen any episodes from the current season and I'm not planning on changing that. I think that the only thing that kept me watching was the memory of the truly exceptional first season with a whole bunch of sunk cost fallacy mixed in.

Anyone watching this? I'm not a Star Trek fan - far from it actually, but I do enjoy the show. It won't be cracking my top 10 list anytime soon but it's very enjoyable to watch.
