Pretty bad month again sadly just really hope these next 4 days we can make shit happen and get it closer to the -800 mark. A couple of players have been dropped from the team and one player has been moved up to 50nl.

I feel September will be much better than this....again i guess i just need to be more cut throat with the time wasters.

I've played the 20NL games at BV and against some of the staked team and these guys seem definitely good enough to turn a profit there.

Is there anything you can put your finger on as to why the results still seem to be going against them?

TBH it keeps on coming down to a couple of players spoiling it for everyone. I agree we have some great players but there are some who just get into a bit of makeup, have a life issue or just become plain old lazy and end up losing at an insane rate because they do not care then vanish. It is really annoying tbh as some of these people i had really high opinions of and they have basically just manipulated the situation and made it so i have to drop them so they get away with the makeup.

You know i am actually going to out these people from now on. It is so obvious what they are doing. Just giving me excuse after excuse, not playing, not posting hands and just losing so i drop them and they just freeroll the situation. Real scummy guys right?

Yeah it's a pity. Hopefully it's just time (and not too much of a loss) before the right group comes together and this starts heading in the right direction.

If a player quits they have to pay the makeup.

If we drop a player they do not.

This is the most standard thing in staking.

In the contract it states that if you leave during make-up, then you have to pay make-up. But obviously Jon wants to be fair, if someone is trying to get out of make-up but just isn't able to do it, then the contract states you don't have to pay make-up if you get dropped by VIP. So the question is whether people take advantage of this by forcing Jon to drop them when they don't wanna pay make-up - probably.

People do 100% take advantage of this and is just the dark side of staking. But these people imo will not succeed in the game, have it hanging over them for a while, lose friends over it and also just be known as scum within the poker world. Its a big price to pay for a couple hundred euros or whatever it is.
