@Jon-PokerVIP It's ok I guess, battled regs HU (lol @ seat scripting at NL50). I'm even after 2k hands, but up due to RB. Not sure how much I get back though.

@MinerBoy23 Thanks! Smile

Got too drunk yesterday, so no cards today. Flat works well in combination with Tinder lol.
I've got this Casino right across the street - they got donkaments going every day with field of 40-100. Buy ins are like 33/50/70/100 eur for the freezeouts. I'm thinking of selling like 50% action here and making it like a fun thing with posting chip porn and other funny shit. Anyone interested? Laugh I obv have a huge edge over that field as it's mostly drunk tourists I guess.

Ok, week is over! Volume was just ~23h or so due to moving and hangover day.

I think it was my worst ever week at 888. Just loseloselose every session. It was very painful, but I didn't destroy my screens or face.

In addition: +188 eur at TonyBet, and +80-90 eur in third room (not sure how high RB is atm). Therefore I finished -120 eur for the week which is ok if I look back how bad I was running.

My surrounding has improved so much due to moving to my flat! I think it was the best thing I've done in a long time, so huge thanks to everyone who encouraged me! Smile Also, I don't have any distractions (except phone / internetzz), so I can put in much higher quality grind!

-120 is a dream if you're running that shit. What do you do in terms of mental game study? I get the feeling tilt can be a small problem for you sometimes.
Posted 8 years ago
Yeh @Bassy puts it well like if this is a sick downswing then the amount is basically a win!

Yeh surroundings are so important and people don't understand how hard it can be. Just hearing someone walking around, doorbell going, someone coming into your room or anything like that can take you off your game. It is well worth spending the money on a place you are happy in and won't be disturbed.

What do your mates think of the place?

@Bassy Swing started last weekend, and total swing was like 600-800 eur. But yeah, when I look at the week run, not that bad. Tilt is my friend! Laugh But it takes a lot of aids run to get me on tilt. I've read the books as most of us have, I know my weak points, and I know what I'm supposed to do to prevent tilt. Not always am successful at it.. Laugh

@Jon-PokerVIP Sure everyone loves my place & location. But then again, it's just logical as none of my friends can really afford a flat like mine. Everyone says it's too expensive! Smile

So I was on a date, paid 16 eur in bar. Just came home having 2 beers in me, opened TonyBet lobby, saw a loner at NL25 with 14 eur stack. Sat down, took like 11 eur off him. He sits out. I type 'come on, sit in, I need 5 more eur to cover my beers. Discover your balzz, you can do it!'. He precedes to sit back in and reloads another 10 extra or so. I take it all in a few hands and type in 'ty for your cooperation!' before he alt+f4.

Am I a bad person? Sad

His finances are of ours, Iv'e baited a 5nl "reg" to play HU on a private 50nl table... Took 2 stakes of him :')

Don't hate the player...hate the game

@CrazyCookie That's evil, you took most of his roll and he probably smashed his screen as well Laugh

Yeah! I was skyping a mate and began pissing about on 888 cam tables. One guy was saying how he was +$90 at 5nl and had a roll of $200 or so taking 10nl shots. I said he was a fish laughig at him etc. Said let's play HU 50nl... 45 mins later after goading and jeering he joins... 20 hands in I stack him he says he has to stop as $50 is already too much... Relaods spazzes out donates another stack says he has to go ... Loses another $15 and runs. My and my friend were in disbelief tbh :')

10nl reg showing off his BRM then blows 60% of his roll playing an unknown at 50nl...

This is a spazz IMO. 3 changes nothing and villain probably not folding. Looks like a fish, this looks like a bluff to anyone Wink flop hits him a lot harder than us also... Love the 35o but him calling this makes the shove even worse as he obz put you on a fd Cheeky

Awesome blog OP, I am in!

KQs hand: Against a fish this may be spew quite often. But for simplification let's assume this is a reg with half a stack for whatever reason:

I assume we might squeeze this range: TT+,AJs+,KQs,AQo+
Passivley villain should defend like this (assuming he opens around 18%): QQ-88,ATs+,KJs+,QJs,JTs,AQo+
It is a bit tight, but coldcaller helps him with the defends, so he must not defend theoretically optimal.
OTF we have a good range advantage, villain is capped and never has KK+ there. He has one Nut Draw, but all the other Draws are blocked from our KQ and the board. His best Hands are TT and QQ there. Barreling the flop with a high frequency is good. We will fold out all the equity share from his suited broadways and his Ax with no backdoor draw. To make your bet BE, he must fold at least 38%.

de.pokerstrategy.com
Board: Tc4d7c
Equity Win Tie
MP2 51.86% 51.86% 0.00% { JJ, 99-88, QdQh, QdQs, QhQs, TdTh, TdTs, ThTs, AcJc, AdTd, AhTh, AsTs, JdTd, JhTh, JsTs, AcKd, AcKh, AcKs, AcQd, AcQh, AcQs }
MP3 48.14% 48.14% 0.00% { KcQc }

Guess this is the range he continues with (55%). So our bet on the Flop is pretty much maxEV and very good.

OTT our equity shifts for a tremendous amount. Our shove needs to work at least 40% of the time, to BE. Villain definitley has to call at least JTs to not overfold there.

de.pokerstrategy.com
Board: Tc4d7c3h
Equity Win Tie
MP2 70.44% 70.44% 0.00% { JJ, QdQh, QdQs, QhQs, TdTh, TdTs, ThTs, AdTd, AhTh, AsTs, JdTd, JhTh, JsTs }
MP3 29.56% 29.56% 0.00% { KcQc }

So he will call our shove 48% of the time.

Let's calculate: 52% we will win the pot whichs leads to 0.52 * 23,25$ = 12.09$
48% we will get called with an equity of ~29.5% which leads to 0.48 * (0.295 * 63.25$ - 16.75$) = 0.91$
EV = 12.09$ + 0.91$ = 13$
(no rake included)

So against a tightish 50nl regular, jamming the turn there is good. To know if it is maxEV we would have to calculate the other options with us x/c Turn or shoving/xc River after Turn x/x on specific cards. But that would be touch too much I guess Wink

Against a fish, our equity when called is around the same percentage, but obv a fish will call waaaay more often, so our FE, from which our play lives, just drops to zero, and the shove becomes -EV very, very quickly.

Hope this makes ense and I did not miss anything

Why do you play 10nl ATM Wink
Posted 8 years ago
Cashing out way too often, being a bankroll nit and a huge spewtard from time to time, plus playing way too little -> et voila, here we are lol
