I'm playing Zoom again for this because I love it and NL2 treated me well early doors. My plan now is to move to NL5 on a super aggro 4 BI strategy! NL10 at $40 or bust!

I guess I won't do this. I don't gamble, and drunken roll on table thing is not for me. Dropping stakes and trying to grind out from 10$ roll is just another form of tilt really, and I strongly suggest not to take this challenge seriously as it actually costs you money (potential money not made in your usual stakes). In all seriousness though I not taking it too seriously (wait that sounded better in my head). If I was crushing NL50 for 4 figure months (and you'd happily put up $10 as a 4bet bluff) I wouldn't do it either but as Stars RB is now reduced due to not being able to get near milestone reward I wanted something non serious to do between Christmas and New Year. On a side note someone just described this time of year between Xmas and NYE to me as the 'festive perineum'. You can decide which end is which I suppose.

Also it is not costing me money on my normal stakes as I'm about to get back onto NL10 anyway! Good session on NL5 and I've just about quadrupled my BR in 2 days. Will post up graph later on then hopefully its NL10 time. I'm thinking I might keep this as my Zoom BR if I don't busto it before 2016!

I've been a little slack. Maybe Christmas wasn't the best time to start this. I will keep with it though, and I encourage others to join in. Particularly if you're somebody who gets any grief about gambling from friends and family. If you document this correctly you'll be able to explain how you're playing with somebody else's money!

After yesterday at NL5. Two more days to go before I decide on my 2016 plan and this may or may not be part of it. I misunderstood this then based on the post above. I thought this was just a festive period thing not an ongoing thing.

Don't worry mate, it's supposed to be some fun. I know it's -EV for opportunity cost but it's nice to make something out of nothing.

Here's my effort starting to make headway playing four tables of $2NL FR Zoom

Meh, I got second place. Had more than a 2-1 chip advantage when it got heads up. I got the money in 4 times as a favourite and he still managed to suck out.

NVM. As you can see i've nearly tripled my $10 so far. I'll move up to 5NL soon then it should take off quickly.

Check this guy out getting 2nd places only 1 week into the god damn challenge! WP BRO

How high do you normally play btw? I find with tournaments no matter how high you play any FT is exciting especially winning them. Find it the same?

I don't play tourny poker at all, haven't done since about 2007 when I switched to 6 max cash games.

I was a 100NL reg before Black Friday, after a bad year with the tougher games I moved to FR. Funnily enough starting off with just 1000 FPPs which I cashed in for $10!

Having spent most of the last 4.5 years in Thailand I've played a ton of 5-25NL FR Zoom, just treating it as a video game with my laptop on the beach and in bars. I should really make more of it and push for higher stakes again.

Hey guys sorry I'm late to the party. I have been doing this challenge myself on Sky poker starting off with £10 cash and £10 of tokens which I have not used yet. Would this be acceptable to use these and if I get a min cash, which is all im good for these days, add that to my bankroll figure or do I need to keep separate?

Anyway been playing 4nl as thats the lowest stakes they do so just been buying in for £3 which gives me an extra buy in sort of lol. Deposited a week ago roughly but only played 2 maybe 3 small sessions and so far my roll stands at, wait for it,......£342.93 no just f**kin with you it is £21.12 which like the word mum is the same no matter what way round it goes! There's a name for that but no idea what.

Anyway rambling now late night postin n alcomohol not a great mix. Will update again soon until then "keep em peeled"
