Ouch, cmon guys! Honestly you must either have a few massive fish or not working on your games to be loosing over this sample now. There are a lot of you so vareicne is pretty much wiped out.
How are you all studying? How are you all playing be honest and evaluate.
So a vast improvement over the first 3 months but still not what we are hoping for. I feel like the group will be profitable in August as most of these losses came from a couple of players who left or were let go and in a good sized loss. With rake back and bonuses we should be evens on the month or maybe even up a little bit so like i say moving forward i think we are about to nail it.
I have decided i am going to stop nagging people who i feel are not living up to potential or well just lazy/not doing what they are supposed to do. I have noted down their current forum posts, overall profit/loss and other information so at the end of August if they have not hit the contract on their own merit they will not get paid. I feel like this is the only way for players to respect the contract and may be the shock treatment they need for that kick up the arse.
Minimums required to get paid and meet signed contract:
- 30k hands - Post 40 hands total on forum. - Be active in Skype group.
Other things i would like to see as an overall:
- 100 forum posts minimum in the month. - Reply to other players hands. - Watch training videos and leave coaches comments and questions.
Gotta say though a lot of the team did exactly what was expected of them or more so hats off to them and keep at it. Going to do the end of month accounts and see if any players are ready to get moved up or for me to set them some targets.

Not the ideal start to the month but one of our players went on a snap 7bi downswing at 20nl so this will happen. Sucks being down €100 on the month already but from what i can see the players are putting in volume and all really going for it this month.
Love this journey, I did some staking on part time poker a few years back so it's interesting to see such a detailed journey of another staker because usually journeys are just from the staked horse point of view.
I had some nice success with staking too even though I had 3 guys roll me I still had a lot of profit.. poker staking is insanely profitable business to be in honestly the only downside is that it's difficult to find enough solid players to stake and it's pretty competitive between different stakers because some stakers can simply offer more incentives for the horses to be staked by them instead of you.

Yeh long run the staking will be profitable it's just like you say finding the core players and moving them up the levels.
@maki1985 Yeh great looking day isn't it. Puts us just back over break even on the month which really motivates me personally and shows signs of moving ahead nicely.
