About to start my shot at 100NL. roll 2900$

Going to take a 5BIN shot
-Fail, no problem we drop down to 50NL at 2400$ grind it up and try again.
-If we rock, we stay there and crush and aim for 200NL.

Plan is to grind 100NL til i reach 10K and start shotting at 200NL

What have made me fail in the past at 100NL?

-I lose confident, i trick myself into thinking 100NL is way more aggressive than 50NL and start playing back.
-I haven't played my best, i jumped into 100NL unprepared.
-Been playing too many hands and 3betting way too much.

How am i approaching this shot ?

- Stick to my Ranges
- Play slightly tighter in the beginning
- Avoid High variance plays
- Get settled and get confident and just crush!

doing well so far, got myself in a tricky situation lol, cant help myself , ended up bluffing all in OTR with K high, he folded *phew*

Damn, im defeated once again... ran pretty bad. back fighting at 50NL tomorrow.

I feel like i played way better this time around, ppl at 100NL fight way more for every pot. BUT there is also a huge amount of fish! ill be back soon!

morning session at 50NL wasnt that good either, but i dont have too many regrets. evening session is probably better

How the fuck can varience be like this? It fucking comes in chunks so frickin wierd ( i know i speak like i fish but i dont care right now. ).
You get the sweet run good, and it last for a bit, and then the wall hits and you start getting beat after beat.

Oh well, i have my Monday and Tuesday off, back grinding on Wednesday.

I missed a player had opened from MP so i try to open 3x OTB with Q10 off but i did infact 3bet very small instead and this happens.

- 20K hands.
- Reach 3k broll so i can take another shot at 100nl ( current 2,27k ).
- try to play my A game as much as possible.

Studying plan

- Work the math, 15 min / day atleast. ( yes its true i havent learned the basics yet, i just know the right desicion in most spots ).
- Keep working at Autoprofit spots.
- Look into limping SB strategy.

Started out with a tough morning grind, ran bad and made some mistakes, had a -380$ session

How many tables do you play? Fast or regular tables? Your sessions seems to be lengthy, do you take any breaks?

I play 6 tables regular, i play 3-4 hours in the morning with 1-2 small breaks and 4-6 hours in the evening with 2-3 breaks, something a lil longer break ( 15 min ish ).

evaluation of todays horrible session

Started out making a hero call, and unnessecasry one. there goes 1 buyin.
Under the session i had 2 regs playing back at me , 3 betting me a shit load and shoved over my 4bets in awesome 4bet situations ( wich i couldnt call ).

Didnt get much happening and we were slowly losing money.

the player pool this morning was very regish, not too much easy money.

i snapped in the end and rage quit when i played a guy opening 5x every hand and bet every street, i hit trips OTR and he hit the flush ofc.

Total loss this morning session -450$ , tilt is probably 200$ of this.

This game is tough, i love it and i hate it

ill make it short , i ran good this evening , repeat of yesterday repaired the morning damage in the evening, + 650$ session
i almost got to 800$ but some idiot hit runner runner flush on me when we got it in AK vs AQ all in pre

but i aint complaining

I think you can play good but if the tables a very reggish, surely either move or sit out? Obviously you're a better player than I am, just making sure it isn't an ego problem is all. If not, gg and go get 'em.

the thing is that i would have to play lower or on another site in mornings if there isnt enough action, so far i have had good sessions in the morning also, i think i will have to adjust alil bit and tighten up while playing in mornings against tougher opponent.

And so the weekend grind begins!

1 big bluff failed ( it was a bad one

it should have cost me 5€ that hand and not 50

lost 250bb pot AA vs QQ all in preflop.

overall play today id give myself a solid B+.

i did run deep in "the most interesting tournament in the world" so i did profit some today.

Bankroll 2645$, 100NL im coming !
