I'd say review everyone's game after 100k hands. if they are clearly just a fish who has no BR and want to still play so uses staking drop them- you shouldn't be donating money to people who are just lossers. Sounds harsh but if I'm looking to stake anyone I want to see a return- so gifting so far what like 2k after RB to people who just wanna play poker and aren't making money doesn't really make sense.

Just my 2cents and obz people can lose and be winning players but it will be clear who is actually a winner and using the staking to improve their game and those who are losers and are using staking to keep on playing...

I am not currently on staking and have been too busy with other stuff to get my Hands in yet and have not been able to follow this thread as closely as i have wanted to.
However i have to say i fully agree with CrazyCookie. if after 100k-200k hands they are not showing a return and in some cases not even making the 30k per month hand target which is very reasonable, i would say drop them.
As said above, no point donating money to losing players, sure they may want to become winning players but if they are not even breaking even which would bring in a profit maybe they should hit the books and get in some more table time before applying for staking again IMO.

I hope the losing players have made videos for you and post hands in the form regularly. Only thing that's going to help them. Studying will of course help Wink
Maybe we could come up with other ways to help them?

Yeh your right altho we do review way more often than 100k hands. A lot of it is weekly but your right i should set a hand target say even end of a month look at 30k and see what they all look like.

Yeh 100k hands is a bout 3.5 months which is a problem as we need to review quicker than this imo.

Ye i keep pushing them to do so and is contracted as you know. Those who don't i pretty much say this week you gotta show you can do all this or we have to end it. Right now we don't have many players so it is also easier for me to keep an eye on them!

Hand Report:

So sexy to see all of those greens and one player being just off it. Few players there need to catch up but i think by Monday we will see all players in the green. You will notice some players are not on the list as they are no longer with us for one reason or another.

Big week team!

BTW just wanted to mention something. On Friday i received full player reports and had a conversation with a few players i felt were maybe under performing or could do a lot better....we had a chat and i set some targets.......did they smash them? YEP. Honestly so much respect for them sticking to their word or even doing more than i asked for. This is exactly what we needs and it's what gets me excited. WP lads!

Jon-PokerVIP: OK so a question i think i will get asked a lot is how to import hands to our tracking softwares and how to get the HUD working so:

First of all make sure your hh are being saved. On the BV poker client lobby follow:

1. Preferences.
2. Hand History (bottom option)
3. Configuration tab.
4. Tick it like this:

Hi Jon my BV client doesn't show preferences, neither the bad beat jackpot or blaze tables, I thought maybe my client was out dated so deleted and re downloaded, possibly different on mac client ?

Mac version doesn't have preferences. Its missing a lot of things. I emailed BV about this last month and they said they will probably be added at some point. You ca't use a HUD with BV on a Mac either.

Its a nightmare. I bought my Mac a couple of months ago and wasn't too happy with the lack of poker programs that run on mac. I downloaded VMware so i could run windows also. It works well but it takes up half your memory.

I've been looking into downloading parallels, but for the meantime was hoping to find a sight with tracking software, looks like i'm gonna have to play stars for a while because I don't wanna commit to wasting FDB on certain sites if they end up not being compatible with mac ect!

I asked Tom on here for a site compatible with Mac, can use a HUD on and have rake back deals, he told me party poker.

I started playing on UniBet because no one can use a HUD there. I think I'll move to Party next. Only problem with stars is you can't use a HUD on the zoom tables with Mac. No problem if you don't play zoom!

Buying a mac to play poker is like buying an oven to keep your milk cold.

HAHAHAHAAH

Probably one of the greatest posts ever made in the history of online forums. Sad but seriously true. Everyone i know who has a MAC just got windows installed on it.......the screen and system are amazing but on the MAC platform you are essentially hand cuffed!
