More losses then. Are the games just this hard now? Almost putting me off grinding if players who are better than me can't turn a profit.

@Obliterate Yes but super small losses. Considering we was -€220 on Sept 4th and now we are -€279 i think this shows some good signs.

Month Hand Reports

Thought i would just put the month long hand report up rather than so far during the competition. I am unsure what more i can do to motivate people tbh

Also i thought i would add on how many days each of these players has received funding this month and what their average hands per day is:

So the players aren't just allocated a BR to use? They get an allocation per day which you supply on the day?

Each morning they wake up to a fresh 15 buy in bankroll. Doesn't matter if they have won or lose the day before. Will be reset before they wake up Smile

Here I go again Smile

How on earth are people only playing 400-500 hands a day on average. The two names at the bottom are at least keen.

Man i really don't know and ofc i am gutted to see it. I cannot physically make anyone grind any harder. Each day they get a bankroll, rake back, promotions and $200 worth of coaching freerolls. I am at a loss to what more we can do. I am just hoping they all go really hard in this second half of the month.

I can say that some of the low volume players are doing really well in the hand posting/replying part of the competition and also are up a solid amount of buy ins. I still keep the faith.

Kobe however:

You're free to comment as long as you're not hostile about it. Just argue the point be nice and we're all good. Also... I actually agree with you. Even if you play 4-6 normal tables you can hit 1k in 2-3 hours. Unless you're the busiest person in the world, with a bit of time management you can find 2-3 hours in almost any schedule (and if you're in fact the busiest person in the world you probably shouldn't commit to a staking deal). Those guys with 1k average are doing fine, but that should be the minimum.

man i can understand one month to be behind pace, but average numbers hands are about 50% of pace right now, and this isnt first time; you all need to say THANK YOU John for still keeping us together... im maybe being rude, but i was part of first group and i had over 60k hands, yes i was unemployed but still you need 2 or 3 hours to play everyday to be in pace Sad

GL Guys but you need to step up!

Good old Kobe the man is a legend. Have you tried one on one sweats with them Jon, I know your a busy man but maybe with you looking over there shoulder and some motivational words which I know your good at might spur them on a bit.

I know when I was part of the team I did struggle to hit that 30k mark but Ive got a mrs and kids that need entertaining too lol, but would it be worth dropping this for a month to see how much volume they put in on their own and then make a call as to whether they are committed enough to be part of the team.

You have probably tried everything but I like reading about the highs and lows of the VIP team and would hate to see it scrapped again as its such a good opportunity.

This is what's more likely needed to get people grinding, I would imagine. Poker isn't easy and you're never done. You can't have it the way you want it, and you can't take a breath at the end of a 600 hand day and say "phew, I'm done man. I've done well. I had good results today!" Poker never ends. You just take breaks for X amount of time. Take too many breaks, and you break. For those of you on stake, having that opportunity instead of someone else, ask yourself why you should have it? What makes you different? What do you want from poker? Why are you doing what you're doing?

Jon shouldn't need to motivate you, you should be showering this dude with a storm of questions and hands. You should be thirstier than the executioner's axe after a holiday season. Work to learn, learn to work, and achieve long term results.

GO out and thrash.

@Jon-PokerVIP That moment when you realize you play more hands than semi-pro stacked players... Laugh
Yes, I'm bragging x-D

I have no way of counting how many Zone ("Zoom") hands I've played this month or track the profit BB/100 (but I'm winning!), so I asked for my total.
I joined Bovada on July 27th, and I still have time to stop by and say, "Hi!" to @mingthemerciless93 on Twitch Cheeky

P.D. I do have a full time job and a life Laugh
But I don't have pets, a wife, or a couple of kids around the states x-D

I like this guy.. Hi PokerFace!

I think this guy need more discipline in the schedule of session, maybe they need to know the discipline in a decent and normal job instead. 1000 Hands in a day is a decent goal that you can handle in a few hour at least in you run safely trough the session (You dont ruin up your bankroll)...

Greeting, i will hope to make this challenge in few days with the permission of our friend and Coach Jon!. Almost in my Birthday, a like this period because am highly motivated (Reaching 34 years, half of coupon Sad ).

The weekend is upon us! The competition ends Monday at midnight so make it count guys!

This looks like an awesome thing to do for grinding, having the targets and playing along side other players seems fantastic. I'll be following this for sure.

I'd be very interested in doing this sort of thing to as I do put some quite big sessions in. The only issue is that I have only holdem indicator, so I can't manage to get full graphs up over my whole lifetime of sessions as it only shows you them in single sessions.
