you may be very right , just looked it up in Snowie and it would never jam AJ but would do that with 77 and 88 for example. Ingame I just thought "ok, I think I would call AQo there, so AJo is the hand which is too bad to call with, so I use it as a 5b jam". But that is nonsense, if he is that wide we should shove AQ for value too as you said and shove hands as a bluff, that got the highest equity when called, which are the suited wheel Aces and our worst pockest we cant' call/jam for value. Anyways, I don't know why he chose to 4b 88 there, he must perceive my resteal range in SB tremendously wide. But on avg I 3b there around 15%, which is good against most villains.

the TT hand I did not put into Snowie, but calculated it with Equilab. On the flop we are a 55/45 favorite against reasonable CO calling Range, and on the Turn we are a 45/55 dog. We need villain to defend fairly wide if we want to 2nd barrel there for value. Yes, we will fold out a decent amount of equity share, which makes it a +EV play overall, but I would still prefer checking. Against more fishy guys, b/b/jam is obv the best.
I don't understand the 2nd part of your sentence Laugh "and 100% not shoving facing a 3bet with boninfor if villain does that." what do you mean here?

yes indeed Smile but guy was fish anyway, so what will you do^^

Yeah, if villain 4b a lot I'm probably just calling AJo to make my 3b range smaller and more value orientated to be able to 5bshove more frequently v the 4b.

The TT I wouldn't triple at 50nl, but I've been playing 10nl this year to rebuild my roll and get back into playing and I think bet bet bet would be the highest EV line at these stakes.

V a reg, if he 3b at 10nl I'm not 4b calling off with TT. The regs are just way too tight for that and even when we think he is on monkey tilt I don't love getting it in because we still end up flipping against AQ or so.

I definitley have to change my work ethics. Atm I got nothing to do. Semster is over and next starts at 15th of March.
Basically I am doing not that much. I stand up around 12, take a shower, ge myself smth to eat and then just grinding the internet, playing videogames and chill out. My avg time at the tables is around 1 hr the last days and I did not do any theory. This has to change!
My best friend is coming over to my place today and stays here till sunday, so from monday on, I will try to play at least 4 hr a day and do 1hr of theory.

Yeh work ethic is needed for sureeeeeeeee. The game and anything in life we do is super tough and whoever works the hardest will win the most.

I would track all your free time. I aim to only waste 20% of my free time on videos/games/TV spend about 30-50% on chores and spending time with gf then the rest on moving towards goals so working out/ poker / forex study/.

that sounds like a good idea!
just played a session, aids run keeps going -.- made one big mistake where i turned JJ into a bluff on the river vs villains obv AA, he's one of the better guys but couldn't lay it down^^ shoulda know it better, on 10nl they are just not able to lay down AA... lost TT to QQ, all in on flop in 3b Pot T87ss, he turns Q. Lost QQ to AA pre. Lost TPTK+NFD AQs on QJ9ss to KQo, Turn was T, River blanks obv. But whatever. Printing EV so everythings fine. Been BE now for 15k Hands, which sucks ass after my first 25k hands with 10EVbb/100. But I fell confident most times and just keep it going Smile

€: Tables were very bad too. Should stop playing at noon, noticed that tables are always very bad there. The three top winners were online and basically sat at all the 9 tables going, only two fish in the entire pool... not that good to grind.

can u explain or pm how do you know it
Posted 8 years ago
Probably from his database, can't remember which site it is on but you can get hands from sites so you can have all hands from past year to go off.
Posted 8 years ago
Yes, let's just say I've got an enormous database. Can't explain it any further, cause this might be against their T&C. Google hhdealer or hhsmithy Wink
Posted 8 years ago
ok ,but just for fun ,can you name one and his winrate
just want to know how far am I Laugh
Posted 8 years ago*
I can name the winners yes, but will not go into detail about their ranges or so, because this would be very unfair towards them (will crypt the names as well, but if you grind on MG, you will recognize for sure, they are online a lot Wink )

Top Winners 10nl Microgaming:
(at least 50k Sample)

f*odie
lsiId*r1
F1sh4*hakrz
sm*th22
Z*acerpoker
Ch*coboy
leandr*ct912
C*ioBrick
ou*hbigslick
DrB*donkadonk

in this order. First, second and fourth on the list are not only top winners, they are pretty good as well for 10nl regs, and I am not quite sure why they grind this limit, they should easily beat 20nl and run around even on 50nl. First and second are super solid from the blinds, combined they lose only 10bb/100 from SB and 28bb/100 from BB which is awesome for micro players. Only from two I saw some spew and tilt plays, one is tilting regularly, so guess that's the reason for him not playing higher.

Top Losers 10nl Microgaming
(no large Sample, but this is far beyond "downswing", just pure inability)

sh*ma
Bull*tOK
Ko*iii624
j*t
to*man19
ri*kyzao
Sp*ok86
le*a909
come*nb1tch
Prince-of-*isPersia

guess there is nothing to mention, tilting, spewing and obv playing super bad results in winrates beyond good and evil. Three of them play quite often, just join those tables any given time haha

The rest is BE or slightly winning/losing. Especially the guys that play all the time (and I mean ALL the fkn time) are mostly bad and win some post -rakeback, but are not able to beat neither the pool nor the rake.

I hope you are in the upper list Laugh If you want, add me on Skype: fat_vicious

€: Winrates are 9.2EVbb/100 for the best and -14EVbb/100 for the worst player

€2: Skype invite is open to anybody who wants to have some chat bout poker and stuff btw. Feel free to send a request!

One more thing: Would be great if you guys could name some topics to discuss. I don't want this blog to become one of many. Posting HHs, graphs and random stuff is ok, but I feel that it would be good to talk about some specific theory topics. Remember, I am just an amateur playing micro stakes, so all of my posts are subject to change, but it would feel so great to maybe help somebody with poker related stuff he was struggeling in the past. Any poker topic is welcome, so feel free to join the discussion!

How about some of the flop textures you mentioned? I've started on a few spots, took my range, BB expected range and worked out a betting and checking range then for fun had a look at what Snowie did. I'll also add you on Skype to get some deeper discussions going Laugh

Sure. The upcoming days I will be busy, because, as I mentioned, my best mate is here atm (he is not into poker), and we just hang out and get drunk yadayada... This will also take a bit to work out, because it is quite a difficult and widepsread topic, but give me a week and I can set up a hopefully good post on this. Will have to re-watch the video and do some revision on it, but I guess this is a very interesting one. Nice input!

Just read your blog from the start and I have to say awesome stuff! I am playing the same games and just moved up to 20nl this week! So a really interesting read!

I too cannot understand why Isildur1 is playing these stakes! From playing the blaze games the last couple of months I had him and another tagged as super solid (other guy has pig in his name)! Both better than any I have seen so far at 20nl!
