My experience with Nandos is that a burger and chips or chicken and chips (with drink) will cost about 50% more than a KFC meal and you receive considerably less for what you spend too.

I've tried the chicken and the burgers on my visits and wasn't particularly taken with the quality of either.

As a lover of spicy food too, I was extremely disappointed as I had always looked forward to that first vist.

Hmm i think you need to give it another shot miner and also take advantage of all the sauces they have to offer. You can really kick it up a notch with a good sauce or just by ordering the right thing.

I would say get the boneless platter then you have tried it all pretty much and can then judge it well. Or also i recently had the new thigh burger and it was delightful!

Everyone loves a cheeky nandos. And if they don't at first, everyone learns to love a cheeky nandos. Its even more fun when the americans don't know what a cheeky nandos is. Good old british humour: Cheeky Nandos

Sorry Guys

Been a while since update so gona try and make this a lengthy one and tell you whats been happening in my life.

Women - New Girl

Started seeing some girl, she’s pretty awesome, life has changed completely. Its like she’s my best mate it’s crazy. Never really felt like this before. I found it actually awesome that I got out the shower one day and there she was, in my bed, reading “The Theory of Poker” and to add to that she was telling me how interesting this book was and how she would love to borrow it. She doesn’t really get poker though, like most, so I’m considering teaching her for a laugh or inviting her to a cheap home game to see if i can get her on my side. I do think she supports me through it.

Knee

As some of you may know, I have now ruptured my ACL (anterior cruciate ligament) twice and I am due another operation to finally put an end to the mess once and for all.

I went for my pre-op assessment yesterday and it was nice to hear that I was the healthiest person they assessed yesterday :). I also got the date for my reconstruction operation too, which was good news. Monday 8th June, going under general anaesthetic, I actually beg them to put me under general anaesthetic because I just do not like the thought of an epidural and being awake whilst they muck about and drill my legs about.

Just pleased to finally get a date and know where I stand, or not (pathetic joke), with everything knee wise.

Live Poker

Played a little bit of live poker over the last few weeks. Entered the DTD Grand Prix $1m GTD. Started day one flying. Managed to get AA > KK aipf in about level 3 or 4, which was nice.

Ended the day short. Went into day two and found some good spots for jamming and 3b jamming. Actually knocked out Willie Tann which was a nice feeling. He shoved short with Q9s and I had AA which was nice.

Had the guy to my right telling me “I will call you”, “Next time” after 3b shoving on him loads. Anyways I managed to get him to eventually call me preflop and I turned over my KK v his 66. I flopped a flush draw and he hit his one outer on the river. Would have had me above average and in a nice position to power on, but ahh well that’s poker ey.

Also played a few cash games, swear I run shit at my local casino. Always seem to get it in with the best hand and lose. Not gona tell you anymore bad beat stories because i hate them as well. Not really rolled for live cash, so usually its just a punt, so cant complain.

Online Poker

So the bit you’ve all probably been waiting for, lol.

NEW SCREEN!!

Had a real bad week last week, not sure whether it was because I was mixing it with a bit of live poker, whether i ran bad and played a different game to recoup losses, or i just played bad. Not exactly sure how to run a full analysis on PT4 (not long had it after a swap from HM2), but im mucking about with it and figuring little things out.

Here’s my current graph,

As we can see in profit, which is the main thing. Definitely need to add a few bits to my game, taking notes, looking at what types of players are in the blinds, having a reason for 3 betting and changing tables. There things i really need to work on. Actually come to think of it, playing in 3b pots too. I get confused and occasionally level myself.

Here’s a sick hand I think i had to fold, just been discussing and probably should have bet smaller OTR.

Aw you play a DTD? How often? Smile

hahaha what a ledge you are bro. You was really in your zone spitting that shit brah! haha. What a random song to pick for karaoke...real vibe setter there!

DTD man that sucks but you did a great job at 1. playing well but mainly 2. getting people to call you off light. That is somewhat down to just being young and confident at the table so wp.
