Cash 6-Max - Started at 19/05/2015

Its a pleasure to open my first thread and be among with good players.
First at all I'm sorry for my english, but I believe if you make an effort you will understand me.

I was a a SnG players and some Mtts.
I'm trying to chage my style to be more loose ( LAG ), and in 6Max format I'm learning alot of situations.

I started to play cash 6 max at 10/05/2015 , its a format I never played before.
Of course before I started to play in this new format I read, watched and studied a lot of the game

Cash 6Max , I began to play -regular- tables but fast I got annoyng and moved to Zoom.

I'm inspired of GrindingitUp of my friend Felix and the idea is to move as fast as possible each level.
NL2 NL5 NL10 and so on....

I had my BR super fine to play NL5 maybe NL10.
I was about to begin at NL5 but the poker in Portugal is in -standby- , because that I did not move up yet.
I do prefer start it and know I dont have to stop soon, it brakes my strategy.

So , hope poker comes back to begin at NL5 and move up .
At the moment I miss poker, so the way to fight it is to open a thread and talk about my game, about poker.

Here I attached some graphs of my effort day by day.
Also I have a page on facebook and twitch
Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/playiteasyORfold
Twtich : I'll update when poker be free to play again in Portugal.

This is my first graph, my first pr

What an epic post and a potentially sick poker player by the looks of it! Will come back with some questions shortly Smile
Posted 8 years ago
Wow, great opening post dude well impressed, some sexy looking graphs too mine have not looked like that for a while, got any tips??

Will you be putting up some goals or targets or you keeping the master plan in your head? Why did you skip $5? Not that there's is any difference in players, im presuming you rolled for it?

Anyway great to have you around look forward to reading some more!!

Good luck

Thanks guys.
Let me say first off all I usualy dont use forums . The only forum I have a similar blog is the portuguese pokerstrategy.
The truth is I dont like to use forums to post any hands doubt or read about it.

Why?
Because I believe its a BIG mistake.
Let me try to explain my point of view: We have 2 pages talking about the same hand, in two pages we have 8 or 12 comments, we have a lot of differentes opinions.
Is it good ?

BUT the most important is which style do they play?
They play LAG, TAG, Loose , NIT .. etc ... I mean if I'm a TAG player of just a Tight player and even if the answer of that player is
the one which makes more sense why should I start to execute that hand like him if thats not my style, I dont have the bases, the feeling, the know how to continue in the next street.
Or vice versa.

If this was in portuguese I bet I could explain it better.
Well...since I began to play poker I do prefer follow 1 or 2 players with the same style I have, 2 or 3 friends with the same style or some % of different style.
I dont know if this make any sense for you.

Before I started in cash 6max I follow a portuguese who translated an english coach of micro stakes, his poker name is Double2
I just followed him and no more players.
First of all I need to understand how to play this new format, how to start, dont care about 3bets or bluffs. It was the first stage, the most important stage.

I had and still have 24h free to play , study. I'm looking for evolution in each stake level.
When I learned the basic to crush NL2 NL5 NL10 I really start to 3bet a lot, 4bet and even 5 bet.
Before the poker stop in Portugal I was not playing anymore the basic, even in NL2 I knew I can 4bet bluf even 5bet some kind of players.

When pokerstars closed in Portugal , I still played for a while in other room, is because that I jumped to NL10 and not NL5, the room only had NL4
I gave some shots in NL10 and I won. The room also closed.
I deposit again in other room 10 euros and start in NL5 , yeah thats true. I won 50 euros. The room also closed. Now I'm in hollidays

To play confident in microstakes I adopt a strategy while I was stream on twitch with the name: - play it easy strategy -

I heard a lot of people complaint cant win at micro because 95% of the field is donk, when we raise they all call, when we bluf they call, and so on... and a lot of people says to me
they know they cant be profitable because are playing NL2 or NL5 NL10 and want to move up to medium high stakes the game its easier because the people play poker .
Well is not true. Something wrong and very wrong in your game.

My advice is -play it easy strategy-

sorry for the long introduce, well the second introduce.
As I said I'd love to learn more and more with you and if I can help in some kind of philosophy, in some strategy ..feel free to ask, to give your opinion.

I'm and will be for ever a Poker Learner.

Welcome to the site, your English is fine.

You look like a crusher of the game!! So are there no sites at all available in Portugal? Maybe use a VPN a different method to play Wink

At what point will you be moving up to 20/25NL?
Posted 8 years ago*
Thanks BarradBod.

Well in Portugal we still able to access some sites, but I dont feel safe.
I dont know about to use VPN is that is safe or the rooms detect is easy and block our account ??

About moving up... I'm a litlle conservative about my BR. As you see I have 350 usd ( won in this -grindingitup- ) and I was stil playing NL2 Zoom.
Of course if the poker did not stop its the right time to move up to NL5 and give some shots at NL10

Why am I so conservate? I have my theory.
If I move up with the "right" math to play in next stake level, I'll play "only the thing".
Well what I mean is, I know I'm to much conservatite, BUT I feel secure, safe and confident to get in some more dificult spots, variance. I feel more confident to make calls for implied odds, bluf catcher ( just examples ), and of course make some mistakes.
I know I have a big mark to make some mistakes, but always playing the profitable way.

Using this concept I feel confident to make more pressure. ( as I said, always playing the profitable way )

One more time sorry if I cant explain me better, but I hope you understand.
Thanks for the interest.

Have a nice day.

The ABC simple poker strategy...I LIKE IT!

I have to disagree with posting of hands tho. Maybe the old forums just full of members who either dont play much or just want to troll but posting hands on a site like ours and a couple other forums out there is the coaches are paid to reply to the hands. So essentially by not posting you are missing out on $$$'s worth of coaching.

Posted 8 years ago*
Hi Jon,
Thanks for reply. Well assuming that you are right.
I was trying to explain when we are against a lot of players comment the hands.
Will be a pleasure to learn with you , with the forum coaches.

The true is the ABC strategy its very profitable NL2 to NL10 . Of course NL10 we can change a litlle bit but the most important is to take it as our base game.
I'm so said poker still in sandby .

I already played in mtt team. Im not still there just because I put in my head I have to play cash and learn a lot about this format.
Who knows one day I can play in a cash team.
For me the benefit of that is I can get a continunous coach and learn with the bests.

Unfortunely I will not post so early a new graph of my effort day by day , but hope soon all back to normal

I can feel I'm among good persons and good players.
Thanks

I'm and will be for ever a Poker Learner.

Ps: Well this graph shows justa few hands I played when I was in Brasil.

Yeh man if you think about it everytime you post a hand you get X$ free of poker coaching. You also then see how other players in your player pool would play them so you can learn from their mistakes or just their general strategy.

Looking forward to the update!

These graphs are so sickkk!

I love Zoom but the variance is hard to deal with sometimes! By the looks of it, you have a solid Zoom strategy nailed! Make sure to post when you're live on Twitch here! Would love to tune in Smile

What's your VPIP/PFR for these games? Do you think playing very tight is the best for these games? Steal wide and abuse the BTN?

Sweet update with some sweet graph brags!
Posted 8 years ago*
Thanks for the support.
I really do prefer Zoom than regular tables.
But these last graphs in the post before are about regular tables.

However I also play zoom but the room does not allow trackers, so I play with no HUD and I dont have anyway to show my results.
But for my appointments Im crushing it
In zoom I play almost with my eyes closed. If Im in LP I open a lot of things.
I mean , we have to play the oposite of the opponents . In zoom a lot of players are waiting for premium hands to raise or 3bet because we can fast fold right? Than flat with SC and PP
because they will give us all the stack with AA ... see the point?
So if we have knownledge of the ranges pré-flop and flop we dont need to fold a lot. We play the opposite wih no fear.

Just adapt.
I believe in Zoom at the moment I'm almost 40/30 as I said I have no HUD to confirm.

I mean the point is we have to play the style we feel confident and never forget to -adapt- to the players and table.

Does not matter if we are 100/100 or 10/10 the point is to crush and make money
I see the poker as my business I have to invest in the more correct / profitable way
