Welcome to my Poker Journey Mark II, you can find my first one HERE

Ill give you a brief background here, my name is Dann Williams, recently single and free to actually put the hours into the beautiful game that ive not been able to do so prior.

I was part of the 1st Staking Group via PokerVIP but found it tough to fit in the volume with a FT GF, a business to run and other shizzle but free of all of these shackles, im raring to go full steam ahead now

So, who is Dann and what makes me tick?!

1. Poker (obvs)

Thats why we are here, always been a cash player by trade but flick in comps as and when we fancy a deece score. The above pic is from my bink at G Casino Cov, winning the Titan for just shy of £6k. Also play the APAT tours as well as UKIPTs. GUKPTs and GPS' when i can. Also part of the Blue Blood Poker Team, which is pretty cool.

2. Pool

Played pool for about 14 years now, represented England at University level as well as missing England Trials by 1 bloody frame this season just gone. Still give Abz a game tho!! Haha

Hey Guys.

I need some help.

As you will know, as i posted it earlier, i am an avid "Twitcher" and am looking for your help.

I am absolutely USELESS when it comes to PC/Graphic Design etc. I am looking for someone to create me a custom Twitch Overlay, and possibly unique "Buttons" for my page. Nothing too time consuming, or fancy, and in return i would happily plug their work on my Twitch Page.

Examples of what i need:

I know its cheeky, asking for work to be done for free, but it should only be a couple of hours work for someone that knows what they are doing, and once i start getting 1000's of followers it would be a good advert fo sho!!

BetVictor is up and running. Got my mods installed as my Old School HUD on for now. Not a fan of it, as its too clunky but my friend is a wee whizz on PT4 and designed a super smooth one that he is sending me tonight!! #Winning - Ill get that installed in the morning for more epicness

WillHill account awaiting Verification, should be sorted by next week, so will do a little spin with that and try to get £££ locked in the PnL too. Will more than likely stream this when i do it. Not sure what my aim should be, i mean we get €40 for free, guess ill try to spin it up to €250 and get half in the bank.

I do most of my grinding on my laptop, as my desktop is old, but at some point will do all my mods etc on the Desktop too, the only downside is that my hands will be on 2 seperate PT4 databases, im sure there is a way of merging the 2 for ease, as 2 moniters on the desktop will allow me to play more tables at once as 4 is prob the max on the Lappy. All exciting shizzle.

Just noticed my PT4 results are in $, so just converting it into € for the time being.

So 8bi down in 3k hands, pretty vile reading for sure. The yellow line shows that ive basically ran 6bi down when all in, so we can take a small part from that. We are getting it in good some of the time. At least we are getting the Blue Line in the right direction.

Looking at my stats im deffo defending too wide for nl10 so will be cutting that back in the next sessions.

Gonna do a video for Jon tomoz, once he is done with it, id be happy for him to post it ITT so we can all take a look at it. Feel it should be here as part of the journey.

So.....a Monday Round Up.

Got home from my 1st day of work in 6 weeks....back at my old job, which is cool. Nice and easy, luckily fell back into it like a duck to water.

Came home and recorded my vid for Jon, looking forward to feedback, especially after a bad first 2 days. Will deffo post the finished version on here.

Pumped in some hands, and although we faced adversity a fair few times I powered through till 2am (some of it with a sweat session with Abz) and managed to pull back 2bi's on the week.

This leaves us looking like this after 3 days play under stake

Gonna get back on the tables about 8:30 this evening, and either Twitch or run a sweat session, hopefully traffic is good and we can get a solid 3hrs 6 tabling.

Had my review with JBone and it was ok, I think it was clear to see that I was leaning towards lines due to having such a bad start to the Staking Journey. Im quite happy to say that since watching the video we have had a b/e and a profitable day, not huge amounts but its a step in the right direction.

Sadly in both sessions i was chasing my tail early on, getting stacked early on with the typical premium < premium a few times, but really feel good playing down the streets again. I think a part of the problem was that i was underestimating the player pool at NL10, and wasnt willing to run the lines i would when i play NL50+, this left me in silly spots. Last 2 sessions i have gone back to "normal" i guess, and its deffo showing an improvement as my Red Line is now taking this line: /

Jon asked me to post my HUD stats here: Its one a friend built and i have used for a while for both cash games and mtts. There are prob some stats worth adding.

What i have atm.

Main - Hands/VPIP/PFR/3b PF/Fold to PF 3b
Stealing - Fold to LP Steal/3b LP Steal/Fold to Flop CBet

I personally find that this is a real instant moneymaker and is something which allows us to steal more vs late position opens. Anything over 70% is exploitable.

If you are on Pokertracker you need to specify 'Fold to 3bet after raising'. You can get into some very tough spots if not. But yeah since I upped my aggression after some advice on here Fold to 3bet is a winner. I sometimes use Fold To Resteal to narrow the view when I'm 3bet bluffing as I'm not likely doing it vs UTG open.

I also like Float Stats alongside Fcbet stats. I use it to choose when to check value hands where the default line might be to value bet. If Float is 90%+ (and it is a lot of the time) fold to river cbet is 70%+ (and it is a lot of the time) for example.

Really struggling in some spots.

Not sure if i am just being value towned all the time, or just beating myself up but seems that the more hands i play, i see people getting it in with nothing yet everytime im in a huge pot they seem to have the me crushed.

AK with NFD I think I would probably x/c turn.

Having said all that I'm super passive so maybe my view isn't the best to take.

The line of 5 stats are RFI by each position so EP-MP-CO-BTN-SB
and that normally sits above a players name on a table

the main HUD is:

Oh yeah i forgot to mention that HUD for hero is alot smaller, it's like less than half of the HUD

Nice looking HUD there and a nice detailed break down of what it all means. I think an awesome thing to do if you have time is to say which numbers mean what. So we know what the stat is but what numbers should a player be looking for and what would that mean about the player.

For example F3b - 70% + means they fold a lot and < 50% means they will call us a ton. Some of them may be simple and clear like this but others may really help!
