Ah I see, that is really one of the main benefits I can see in being a staked player as having a knowledgeable eye on your overall game. I think its such a good opportunity, as I have said on here before more than the cash help even.
Ref the graph, yeah its always nice waiting until you have decent hands to post something. Or just follow my ego rule which is post short period graphs when you run super hot and don't post a graph until its looking good after a poor period.
Only kidding, probably more important posting when things aren't going well.
Good to hear others move up and down, testing the water. I have noticed the play does vary greatly between the stakes and this was part of the reason I wasn't sure if was best to solely focus on one limit at the time. Rather than potentially playing 3/4 limits on 6 tables.
I find the best thing for my game at the moment is a bit of a downswing. I feel like I play my best the couple of sessions after a loss. Probably says something about my mental game and the fact I probably should be focussing on my A game all the time.
As a staked player do you feel that the pressure of maintaining your volume could adversely affect your game? Sometimes I like to just take a break to level my thoughts, or play fewer tables to really work on the game rather than grinding for volume. I can imagine it might be especially difficult if you are on a downswing and behind the required pace!
