Ah it's been so long! Life has been crazy but I'm back!



Hey @colly191091! My study methods are all over the place. I like to watch videos to learn new concepts and then try to figure out how to incorporate them into my game, that covers most of my theoretical stuff. Other than that I just mark hands that sucked in game and then review them later on in an attempt to improve on those spots in the future.

So... Poker
My poker play has been going well. I've been most consistently playing and beating the 200 zoom and 200 snap games. I even took my first shot at 500z when I saw the pool was super soft.

Apparently, studying doesn't exist for me anymore though. I'm really not happy about it but I've had to drop so many things in my schedule lately and for the most part I would rather play poker than study it. I really hope this trend doesn't continue because losing my edge is something I don't want to do. So why haven't I had time to study? Well if you take a look a few posts above this one you'll see I'm having a baby ...IN LESS THAN A MONTH. Holy balls! There's so much to do! My free time is sad, my wallet is sad but I'll be a very happy guy really soon. I also blame this for my lack up updates here but I'm gonna try to keep up with that better since what's the point of having a thread if you don't post in it?

I think some part of me died inside when I made that. The squeezer was something like 15% VPIP, 1% 3bet over a substantial amount of hands. The other villain having KK is just icing on the cake I guess

Playing Zoom is great as you can quickly start and quit. Which you are going to need to do to get hands in! Work on your focus on short, stop start sessions IMO and you'll be crushing again in no time.
