Sad the free Tarzan games are no more I'd be retired by now.

Probably not gonna be playing much in the next few days. Gonna take today off, just basically been out car searching today and have stuff to do tonight.

Have work and gig in next few days so just won't have a lot of time but maybe some.

So gonna put this update before the next few days roll in.

I won't be taking any 20nl shots just yet, I want more buyins and in no rush as I've said before. But you know, if I keep doing well then maybe it won't be that long at all.

Ok so I played a little PLO and recorded a sesh for some people to take a look at and rip apart! I'll post it up in a few days. As part 19 I think.

Overall though I've been playing a tight PLO game and just unsure about some spots preflop which I'll spend time studying because I think it's worth it to get good at the game given the overall player pool standard. I'm running pretty decently so far though.

Who else thinks that maybe switching game could be a good strategy? Of course I'll still be playing my share of NLHE .

I'm rolled decently to stick to PLO10 I guess, and don't want to get ahead of myself.

Anyway in the very little that I've played, here is an update before work today.

Hah, I feel you man. There's a lot of new content out there right now that's like a gold mine I feel if you spend a bit of time on it.

The new vids on here, JNandez87 posting his streams. It's like hour upon hour of free content.

The amount of really weak players per table and random stuff is crazy compared to NLHE. Seems like a good time to take advantage of what's here before too many people get good!

Whoa. I stopped following this journey thread for like literally three or four days and you're already closing in on the 500 mark? Now that's some impressive stuff right there sir! Sincere congratulations.

3 days in the life of @Grocker6 is like 3 years for us normals

Had a bad couple of days though guys, back down to about 389e. -5bi one day, -4 the next. Taking a couple of days study break and come back, always do better after that. Lost some big pots and the blaze games seem like a rollercoaster. Probably didn't play my A game after a while either so gonna go watch some Nandez and study the great game of PLO and see if I can start doing ok at that over long term! Should be fun!

Was bound to hit the bad variance at some point, so whatever. Will maybe play a couple of tournies when I get chance too.

Played a good little session of PLO today, started off running a little badly, got someone AI on the turn fairly crushed with QQ overpair, wrap and FD, they had a low 44 nothing pair and nut FD and rivered the flush. But didn't manage to get a screen shot of that one. Still he a had a few outs but I was decent fav.

Got a couple of fun hands though, first one was just an AIPF but my hand was a beauty and I ran well vs the other full stack, and some shorty.






This next hand I just flop it don't I... barrel 3 times and manged to get the guy's stack with a lower straight. Good stuff.




Overall it wasn't a crazy amazing session but was solid, but it also wasn't that long. Had a lot of fun though!

BR at 409.86. Trying to creep back up. In no rush to "make back my losses". Just gonna take it easy as that'll no doubt work best.

Ok well I played another session. I thought I had to leave the house to collect some things I've had PAT tested but I won't need to until later now, so I played another session of course.

Just can't help myself. The great game calls and I must answer...

This was an interesting hand for 300bbs pretty much.

I check raised turn for pot and he jammed over. Obviously I get it in with the super nuts. He has a flush draw, 2 pair and nuts blocker I guess, but my exact hand isn't what he wants to see...

Ok so I really won't be playing anymore after this session now, got a couple of things to do. But BR is at 428.65e.

Makes for a solid 4BI day.

Hey again. Played a fun session today of good ol' PLO. I might play later with a couple of tournies. I played one earlier and played well but got smashed by bad luck, but hey, that's a tourney.

So here's some fun hands of the day. Sorry that they're all winning ones. I had a couple of losing ones early on in the day but I just didn't make screenshots.
TBH I snap lost 2BI right at the start of the first session and just came back from there. Wasn't really thinking about making screen shots and stuff as I'd just sat in to play.

This first hand I'm unsure about. I had a GSSD and NFD, the pot was big on flop and I went for it. Funny thing is what the guy showed up with...





Hand 2 here, this guy went wild a couple of hands before, he was half this stack and doubled off me with some absolute shite that got there. Then he played aggro on this hand I had my overpair on flop and said... fuck it this guy is farrrrr too bad and got it in on flop. I was ahead as I thought I would be vs his range soooo often with how he played. Turn card was just funny





Hand 3 was vs an aggro fish, I flop top two and go for it. He had the expected FD but I held. One for the good guys.





Hand 4 is kinda strange. This was another ultra fish. I pot squeeze pre and get it in on flop. He calls off with this wonderful holding... OP gutshot draw





Hand 5 here, I got AI with big squezze PF and shove flop. I don't know what to say TBH.




Any way BR still creeping up at 455.20e.





Oh and I'm having a HECK of a lot of fun at PLO!

PLO is such a wild game. How's the traffic at Microgaming PLO wise btw? Also, looking forward to the next update.
