Managed to drag myself out of an awful session tonight was stuck 4 buyins in no time due to hideous suckouts! Finished abt even which im well happy with! What is it they say..........its not how much you win in your good sessions its how little you lose in your bad ones

Bahhhh you have to have a good mental game to play on sky...........just tons of outright gamblers with seemingly endless bankrolls throwing money around at the mo! Todays session was the polar opposite of yesterdays............started great then got a couple of insane suckouts towards the end! Ended up abt 2 buyins! I must add that it may sound like im chirping on abt suckouts but overall im not running real bad or anything............its just the suckouts on sky are so ridiculous you certainly remember them

I tilt so much on sky!! "How the f**k call he call a 3 bet from EP with that!!!". This is just one of many things a scream at my laptop while playing on sky. Full of fish. I hav t quite managed to adjust my game play from Ipoker to sky.

Haha yes I totally agree mate! But if you can put it out of your mind I definitely think the times your top pair gets stationed really outweigh the suckouts! But it's hard to be rational at the time!

In regards to adjusting I too am not finding it easy! The main things I have done so far is tighten up my opening range and give up a lot more when I miss flops! Although not c betting sounds weak and not optimal I think you are just burning money c betting and barreling on sky as they don't understand the concept and you are getting called down a hell of a lot more than you are getting folds!

Im still waiting to run anywhere near EV in a session on sky haha! The 50 cap games are literally so bad you actually wouldnt believe! People over and over putting in 70% of their stack by the turn then calling off their last £3 to show they hit their gut shot on the river! And they literally have no idea they have done anything wrong! Im about 5 buyins up over 4 sessions so winning at a decent rate but honestly EV wise must be about 15-20 buyins! Im just getting impatient now haha! I really want to do a vid just for the comedy value

Hey Harv and everyone else! I have never really bothered with tournies on sky at all but after reading donks journey i decided to enter a satty to the main tonight and just shipped it weeeeeee!! So im in the main tonight which is a £33 bounty hunter! One time ha!

In regards to your questions Harv the site is awesome! In contention for the best software online imo and the games are just insane! I just find myself smiling at my screen constantly they are that crazy good! There are some really good 20nl grinders these days tho who must be making a small fortune!

I was going to update anyway today as ive had an insane week! No poker as I ended up having a job interview yesterday! I was contacted last week after an accountancy firm saw my CV online! After a few phone calls etc i went to meet them on Thursday! The meeting went insanely well and we chatted for well over an hour! Good sign Anyway i got a phone call yesterday saying they loved me but the salary i was quoted earlier was a mistake and 3k higher than it should have been! BUT to show how much they want me on board they were willing to give me the higher salary! I couldnt and still cant believe it! It is literally a huge jump in salary for me in the region of 60%!! It is going to completely change my life and is such a great opportunity! The only downside is that they are based just over 60 miles from me! So going to be a bit of travelling etc but that is just nit picking! Plus where they are based is in an absolutely beautiful countryside area and the house prices are super low so think im gonna be looking at relocating once im settled!

Obviously because of this poker is gonna have to take a bit of a back seat! It already was jst a hobby tho and will continue to be whenever i get a spare second! Defo gonna stick with sky as i wont have time to study etc so just enjoy bating the fish and pinching what i can

That is amazing news Jeff, you should have told them your salary was a mistake and you actually wanted another 0 on the end of it. 60 miles does seem a bit far but or a 60% increase I would be jumping through hoops.

@Lorry I do have a degree but it is nothing to do with my job! Basically just got a payroll admin job after graduating then have just worked my way up from there! This is now a Payroll Manager position in charge of the payroll department for an accountancy firm! I don't have any direct payroll qualifications but they said they wanted experience more than a qualification which is rare and very refreshing to hear these days!

Defo gonna be relocating now it looks so it's all full steam ahead! I own my flat here tho so probs gonna rent there while I sort everything back here then look to buy!

Hey guys! Poker is going reasonably well! Volume has been low as i have loads to sort personal wise but when im playing im winning in general! I deposited £600 when i started back on sky and went down to like £520 ish pretty much straight away! After today im at £686! Still playing the 50nl cap games which are just fish city!

Since getting offered my new job i have really been contemplating getting a new car! My Seat Leon FR is just too pricey to run, tax etc and im really past the petrol head stage! So decided to pop into the Ford garage on the way home from Asda today and ended up buying a car Its only 11 months old and i took it out for a drive and fell in love with it! Free road tax too

The cap games are 30bb! I love them because I think it just hugely inflates the whales pre flop leaks! They are a gold mine!

30bb cap seems quite small, I thought the cap games were 50bb usually? How is the edge at 30bb stacks, do you think it's more EV+ than 20nl?

Hey Lorry! Yeah ive liked them for a while then when i took this little ecoboost out for a spin i just had to have it! Lovely to drive and thats from somebody moving from a 200bhp Leon and a BMW M sport before that!

Yeah i wont be adding extra money in poker would only move up by winning! I play poker as a hobby so the money is just a bonus really! But it is tempting when you see some of the whales at like 200nl on Sky

I think they are massively +EV! Since i started on them i havent touched a reg table! Its like the fish know they need to adjust but then do the exact opposite to what they should be (IMO)! And the amount still calling with FDs and suited connectors is unreal! Like yesterday there was a cpl limpers so i made it £2.50 with AA! Flop of K42 two clubs so i bet £4.50 and he flats! Turn 10c so i dropped in my last £7.50 and he snaps with 89cc! He was getting 2-1 on his FD after flop! In the long run that has got to be the best EV advantage you will ever see! And he sits there thinking he has played it well
