Heh, I guess that my videos are not that good since there is no feedback. Giggle

Today I played an another little session and it felt good at the tables. I finally managed to make HM2 to appear on the video. Smile
Here it is, vide number 3:

I played pretty loose preflop and agressive postflop...at least this is my impression.

I'll take o brake from posting videos for a while but I'll start to bring in volume in my poker game since I was very lazy this month.
So, until I have some important news, I will not post ony videos at all.

Bankroll is now at $262.

I have to move up to NL10 this month so my goal is to reach a bankroll of $300.

Good luck! Smile

Haha busy time of year i think buddy that's all.

BTW watching this and your progress i would honestly say to try Unibet. Just seen a quick vid of someone playing 5/10nl there and it is joke soft and the new software makes it sick fun to play on....just a thought!
Posted 7 years ago
I know @Jon-PokerVIP , I guess we are all busy this time of year Smile

I don't like UNIBET, played there in the last month a little bit, but I hate that cartoon software.
Anyway, I played a longer session today at ZOOM, for almost 1h20m and it didn't went that good at all. I lost around 2 and a half buy ins but overall I think that I played ok.

Hohohoho guys, Smile

Today I played only for half an hour but managed to finish with a small profit of around 3$ after loosing almost one buy in after clicking the "wait for BB and leave". I tried some bluffs that didn't work unfortunately. Smile
Here is one of the hands from the end. I think that I played this one OK since I was prepared to bluff any river. I think that I got unlucky in this spot.

Pretty trivial cbet there. You really need a good reason NOT to cbet IP in HU pot. Now when you got BDFD, BDSD, it's really a no brainer Wink Therefore hands is quite fancy played. Turn raise doesn't really make sense as you should cbet almost always. Could x/back like some KK, QQ/JJ/KJs, K10s, K9s(I don't even open K9s UTG) and on turn your saying you have KK, 99 or K9s and if you ask me, it looks FoS Laugh But yeah, just cbet when it's auto profit.

I should have posted this stats with the hand probably...small sample anyway.
Attached Image

@MilfGrinder Of course that at first I wanted to cbet on that flop, but I looked as his postflop stats and I just wanted to see a free turn in this case. He seemed so aggressive postflop. On the turn I just thought that I should put presure on him and prepare the ground to win the pot even if the river is a total miss. Thank God there wasn't a diamond on ther river. Smile

Well, I guess that standard would have been , cbet, cbet and give up on river.
Thank you for the comment @MilfGrinder !

Here it is the loosing session of 1h20m. (video number 4)

Cheers!

Well, don't look at stat's, especially when just 100 hands Wink 100 is probably only good for VPIP/PFR - basically just letting you know what type of player villain is. And this texture is so dry that villain should never x/r really.

I ended my first session at NL10!

I can't remember the time when I was so excited and nervous while playing poker. I think that I have a little bit of fear of failing. It is just fucking NL10 but hey, it was so weird. Smile

I played for only half an hour and I recorded the hole session. What can I say?! I don't know if it is always like this, but the filed of players was huge, like 1.4k of entrants and fish proportion was huge from what I've noticed in that short period of time. There were a lot of players with less than 100bb, maybe even more players than the ones with full stack. It was HEAVEN for a poker player, no doubt about it. In love

I had to steal less because everyone was at least calling me preflop and my cbets had no succes, getting called with 3rd pair and shit like that.
And now the sick part:
I was dealt alot of KK but they were a nightmare in this session. I think that I had KK in my hand at least 10 times in 30 minutes of play but it would have been much better if I would have folded them preflop. Smile I even lost 2 stacks with KK when I was in good shape from what I remember. Angry

Overall I lost only $1 or so, so my bankroll is still good for NL10.

Here is the graph of the first session of NL10 ZOOM:

ENJOY my first shot at ZOOM NL10: (raining with KK) Cool

I just ended my second session at ZOOM NL10. I am still having the same feeling like yesterday regarding fish, there is an incredible amount of them at the tables. Smile
I have to admit that in this session I played worse than yesterday and even butchered a hand trying to play fancy and bluff catch on a fucked up board... my bad... more attention in the future.

Horrible session today unfortunately. This was probably one of the worst sessions ever played by me. Turns and rivers were a total nightmare in this 1h of play. If you look at the graph you must be thinking that I was lucky. YES, I was lucky beacause I hit my fucking outs with big hands against monsters as always.
So, here is the graph from today:
Attached Image

I lost 2 buy ins so my bankrol droped a little bit to $298.

Later I'll post the video with the hole session played today.
I started it just fine wining (lucky) KK against AA and A8o but after that nothing went my way. I even tilted this time, calling with all sort of crap preflop, 3beting a lot of garbage etc.

And the moment when I realized this is just not my day:

4bet, go broke pre flop Cheeky
As played looks good, you don't block Qh combos, Q10s is fully blocked as well, QJs you block. Against a passive nit could fold I guess, no idea how passive those NL10 games are, probably uber nitty. But yeah, calling down normally.

I forgot to post it last night, but here it is now, my last session from NL10 in which I played bad, run bad, some lucky pots...end of story.

Enjoy! Smile

4th day at NL10 is over too. I think that I am playing a little bit too loose preflop and I play bad in 3bet pots.
So far my NL10 graph is pretty bad, losing a little bit overall, but nothing important. I need a little bit of good run to gain more confidence in my game.

I am waiting for the day when I'll win a 3 way all in pot preflop with AA...today was not the case: Smile

Is there any possibility to find out the average player pool tendencies at one certain limit using HM2?
I tried to use this tool from HM2 but I think that the average numbers showed at the end are not good at all.

Thank you! Smile

Why would you need it? Adjusting your game guiding from pool tendency at micros is just bad imo. Just pay attention to table and adjust to player types. Each type of players will have very different stats and by merging them you'll find no good. Cut bluffs vs recs, fold to river raises with TPTK (or overpair) type of hands, implement 4bet/5bet bluffs vs aggro regs that you've seen 3bet/4betting light. It's NL10, it's no rocket science Laugh Don't bluff catch unless certain read. Don't go crazy with bluffs. Make a hand and get paid. That's it.

What I suggest you try:
1) Cut down tables - I see you play 4x zoom, try 2x and pay attention - your win rite will skyrocket;
2) Spend a second or two before opening a hand to really take a look on who's on table, are there rec's in blinds? Are there maniac 3bettors behind? What about stack sizes? etc etc.

My N8 challenge has mostly been me 4 tabling regular tables, guess why.

agree with everything above

Well, you are right. Smile

I did play some poker the last 2 days but run like shit. I made some big mistakes in a couple of hands, calling river shoves and got it wrong as always. My excuse might be that I had some monsters too, but at this microlimits almost nobody bluffs on river with shoves.

Next times I'll fold even though it might seem at first a very tight and weak move from me.

For the next week I'll play at ZOOM NL5 and try to improve my game.
Here are my winrates so far:
Attached Image

Not very pleased with the results, but, that's my level of poker.

Objectives for the next week:
* open tighter ranger from all positions.
* call less preflop.
* don't bluff often and don't bluff catch at all for stacks inf possible.
* valuebet hard with good hands.
* play quality poker.

Good luck all! Smile
