On a brighter note - UniBet gave me 5 free $1 SnG tickets. I came first in 2, 5 man for $3, second in one for $1-ish, won a heads up for $2. Lost one TT < 99 but can't complain.

haha nice diagram there bro. Have you thought about playing as many of their good tournaments a possible duriong your cash grind? Pretty sure this is where some big bucks are left lying around.

I think i'll start adding tournament tables while grinding. I've only played with my free tourney tickets and the field is unbelievably soft. Maybe my next update will contain some tourney stuff. I'm going to start trying out their challenges too...more free cash Smile

Not much to update. Haven't really been able to play much because i'm at my gf with the terrible internet. Good news tho, only 4 more days left here Laugh Busy packing everything away so the BR is pretty much the same. I might be able to squeeze some MTTs and a little cash games in before Tuesday, so will update then!!

And encase you're wondering...I still fucking hate kings!! They cause more problems than they solve!

Haha yeah the tourneys must be soft.

I registered 4 entries for one I had some tickets to yesterday and forgot to actually sit down and play it this morning yet notice I still cashed with 2 of those entries without even playing, lol.

LOL I might just do that. Then sit back, relax and let the money roll in LaughCashBeerDancing

I joined a £4 tourney yesterday to try it out. i finished 17th out of 127 - TT < K6o. The bubble was 18th so I was lucky because I thought I had bubbled Laugh

I then registered for a £4 SnG and got heads up with 5K in chips each, and then in good old fashion, the internet cuts off Angry I had been disconnected a few times during the tourney but I wasn't too bothered, I was raging this time tho! When it got back I was down to 3K and maybe slightly tilted Cheeky I ended up running AQs in to AKs and finished 2nd so couldn't complain too much. a win is a win!

I think tournaments and SnG will be a regular thing while I grind the cash tables!

Told you the tournaments are lol soft. I know the SnGs are soft also but coming 2nd and getting a super small cash would tilt me....focus on the tournaments and go for the big cashes #TeamDegen!

Haha I will focus on tourneys and cash. But my hard drive on laptop seems to have went, according to a Google search, it's "fucked". I'm back at work for a month so I can't even study properly or get it fixed so My phone will have to do for now!!

No poker updates as I've been in Greece. I got back 2 days ago after an amazing holiday, only to get a text when the plane landed saying I was a dad to a baby named Aiden Smile he was 5 weeks premature but all are well! I sadly only seen him for one day before returning to work for a month but i have something other than poker to look forward to when I return!!

Some life tilt - I live in the UK but i work outside the UK month on/off. I get paid in euros which I have to convert every month to pounds. I'm now making 17% less since last year because of the exchange rates!! and it's only getting worse. You Greek fuckers better sort something out or I'm never visiting your country again!!!

Being on the other side of the world I don't follow it closely but the situation is pretty bad in Greece now yeah?

Know some people heading there (and who have recently been there) and apparently it's really hard to access too much cash, and that it's advised to take ample cash with you............ which in itself seems like a dangerous thing to carry a lot of cash in a country with dire economic issues at the moment. You'd be pretty nervous holding too much with you.

Congrats on the baby news though.

Yeah Greece are pretty fucked. They owe billions and can't pay it back. I'm not sure if the eurozone are going to bail them out because they won't be able to pay that back either. their banks and stock markets aren't opening. I think the county will vote weather they want to stay in the euro or not. It would be worse news for me if they left.
I could be wrong on some of that, i know the BBC news like to over exaggerate and lie about things.
But it does look like they are fucked from other sources.

Thanks Smile 3 more weeks to u see him again!

I am going to be grinding quite a lot on Unibet this month as i will be making tons of videos there so i will get some at the stakes you play as well - maybe i can help with showing some kind of adjustments maybe? Anything on there you think i could maybe point out of try to figure out how to crush?

Sounds good, Jon. Would be good for me these videos.

Some things I do are I have a note pad document on my laptop with notes on the players as note taking isn't allowed. I try to keep it in alphabetic order to make life easier. Only downside to that is players can change their alais 5 times a day if they want. It doesn't seem many people do this as I see the same regs all the time.

The overall play is loose on the tables so once you figure out the regs you realise they are very tight and a 4-bet is always the nuts! It can be very profitable once you figure out the regs, they are easy to bluff off hands!

It will definitely be worth mentioning the bosun system they have as it's fun to do!

I'll add more if I can think of any.

Ok awesome bro will get to that. Any chance you could tell me more about the system and the vip system overall there?

Yeh the change of name thing doesn't seem to be taken advantage of as much as you would think. How often do you change yours?
Posted 8 years ago
The VIP system isn't clear at first, I'm still getting getting used to it. I believe you get 100 points for every €1 you rake. There are mile stones you reach where you get rewards, stuff like 4x Sng tickets, 4x tournament tickets or cash straight in to your BR. The rewards get better as you go up.

To help you get more points, they also have minor and major challenges. The minor ones are things you get without trying, like raising pre flop 10 times. You usually get an extra 100 points for a minor challenge.

The major challenges are things like check raising in the BB when someone raises pre flop, this can get you 1000+ points. Once you complete a challenge it gives you a new one.

I find myself completing the challenges without trying. They just happen. I'm sure they reset each week also.

You can make 5 usernames. i only have 3 but i change them regularly. I could go a week with the same one and other times I could change it 3 times in one day. Depending on how reg infested it is.

The software is simple enough to navigate around. If you go to "view profile" it will tell you all about your points and next challenge, and what rewards you can win.

Maybe also worth mentioning that is MAC friendly Wink

Nice mate thanks! Its pretty clever how their VIP rewards are based around creating action and possible bad plays. You know win some money for check raising randomly in a pot or rake some money and play a SnG. Everything is just geared up for action action action. Pretty smart!

Yeah it's a smart idea. I've cashed in 7 of the 8 SnG tickets they've gave me. The games are so soft.

Back after a LONG month away. I've been dying to hit the tables! Laptop is fucked so going to use my old one (very slow and tiltin) but better than nothing.

I'm only going to play some tourneys on stars until my laptop is fixed, then I'll be going back to UniBet for the rest of the month.

With the baby here, I now have a great excuse to stay in at the weekends and grind baby sit Laugh I'll update this once the micro millions is done and we'll see how I did.
