I'd recommend moving from PKR, from my limited experience the traffic isn't great for cash games or Mtt's for that matter,but especially cash.

Everyone needs Rakeback buddy,wether its micro or low to higher stakes. It all adds up with enough volume.

A cash game HUD.I personally have the following :

Name - VPIP - PFR - AF
3B - F3B - F4B - STEAL
FlopBet - TurnBet - FlopFold - Hands

Basic enough but all the info you need for micros. Anything else you need is on the pop up in more detail.

The fold button is your best friend at the micros

Rake back is always good. But where rake back is, the regs are there. Its reg infested with regs grinding for as much RB as they can.
Its 50/50 between that and playing on a very soft site. Its a matter is prefrence really.

I am going to withdraw from PKR and move the funds to a site i can get rakeback it seems the smart thing to do. I have been a bit stupid and most of my accounts don't have rakeback

Good choice. Stan James has loads if promotions, plus rake back. Games are a but tougher over there. But I wouldn't worry too much at the micros.

I added my stats from SJ the sample is about 1.3k hands and the 3bet does feel high but at 2nl there has been alot of 3bet and 4betting. One hand today blind v blind I did a 5bet all in with KJ suited, I felt a bit sick doing it. I am trying to keep it really simple and not 3bet but i feel i have to because i think i am being taken advantage of alot in the blinds/button.

Good idea to move PKR is very soft but also low on traffic, and yes rake back is a big factor and all players should be looking for these deals!!

How are you finding Stan James? I imagine its a little more fast paced on PKR!!

Stan James made me feel really old really quickly but my reg player detector was of the chart. Played just under 2k hands in the space of 2 evenings which is insanely quick compared to PKR but at the same time i had a huge up and down swing just as quick.

Right now i just wanna break even and try and get some of that bonus but i think getting the bonus maximum is unlikely unless i move up to 10nl

Well just completed my first 5k hands this week playing 2nl and a bit of 4nl. Think one of my leaks is over playing AK and getting it in pre when i am up against AA or KK. I think i need to think about who I am going all in with is it a 20/20 player or a 60/15 and maybe be more. I think i am playing to many tables but im a action junkie. RIght now im playing 4 or 5 tables I think i mite drop it down to 3.

I hope at 15k the graph looks a bit more stable.

Yeh with AK lots of people do overplay it but at the same time we have blockers for AA and KK so villains can be bluffing more or we could be ahead vs AQ or flipping vs say QQ. So it is hard to be really mad about just generically getting in AK but yes you need to pay more attention to players stats and positions. Getting AK in say bb v UTG vs a 18/13/5 may not be the brightest idea but 5 bet jamming AK bb vs btn vs a 20/18/7 seems legit.

Whats the November plans?

Well I am of work for the first week of November so I am going to get some volume in but with breaks if i am winning or losing. I am going to take a break during a winning session because In one hand I made quads on the river and I could feel my heart racing, felt a bit like sex but without the thousands of people cheering me on.

Planning to
- keep grinding at SJ, try and get some of the bonus but think i would have to play 10nl to get a decent amount
- Take a shot at 4nl if the games look good and i get to $80
- Open the button more
- Learn a bit more about HM2
- Start the intermediate poker course on pokervip
- Maybe try anonymous tables
- 15k hands post again and see whats happened and indemnify the leaks
- Stream on twitch more (willing to sell out)
- hopefully see the benefit of rakeback soon.

Well lets start with the positive still in the black and i did reach the dizzy heights of $80 and I did take a shot at 4NL. Added a few more stats to my hud and I have started the intermediate course and I have been watching Mings videos on twitch when I can. I tried the anonymous tables but just didn't like it. I haven't made it to 15k hands yet but il get there.

In short it didn't go well, I was clearly new kid at school and i can tell i was being stalked by some players. (sitting at a empty 4nl table and having it instantly fill isnt luck..) I tried to bluff and failed and I didn't understand the constant pot bet or it would be bet check pot bet and it made no sense to me. I think i just need to play ABC still but the pot bets i just didnt get it. Its back to 2nl for me

I only lost 2 or 3 buy-ins but it was in less then 1k hands.

I have been streaming and some guys have been hilarious, thanks for the support and embracing the vengaboys celebration when a 100B+ pot win comes in.

Unlucky on the shot buddy but don't let it get you down - maybe you was being bum hunter but maybe people just wanted to start new games so don't let it phase you.

I should re name this thread to My name is Dave and I have addiction to paying of short stacks with Aces. Unfortunately for me its back to work tomorrow which is probably going to lower the amount of hands i can get in but I feel I am learning each day.

On to the positive I have made it to £15k hands now and I haven't lost any money. I have spent a lot of time reading articles about the mental side of the game its been really helpful when i feel tilted and its helped me just re load and move on and continue to play the A game & not dwell on a stupid decision but learn from it. When you make a set of jacks on the turn knowing the regs range is ultra nit QQ-AA and you manage to get it all in on the turn and he shows KK and your excited and express your excitement on the stream and the ...river came it off course that king comes on the river but it made me laugh a lot it was typical and i was streaming so i did get trolled a bit but i got it in good cant ask for much more.

Got into a few leveling wars with some of the regs it has been so much fun but so so sick sometimes, hand below is a example but I know this chap was 3b/4betting me with Q10s ,J10s etc so I went a bit ham and I know if he has it i expect a huge check raise or large bet on the turn. (we have a lot of history over 1k hands)

I am not great at assigning a range but usually with bet pattern and opening position etc I have been able to guess they type of hand my opponent has a lot unless the play it cute and limp aces utg. Had a look on HM2 at the leak buster report and can see a few stats are quite low and I look very nit like but it doesn't feel I am that much of a nit. I think i struggle assigning ranges because i am playing 4 tables now and the action can be very hectic but when i play 3 tables it does feel like enough and i get bored and do spewy stuff. its like a huge catch 22. HM2 states my most profitable amount of tables is 3 but I need action .

I have been watching Mingthemerciless93 on Twitch when I can its a great stream but he is on very late at night for me but its worth a watch/sub - I like his openness (i think that's the politest way to put it) and his explanations are really good.

Is not Caddy worth getting? its something that looks useful but not a purchase I am going to rush into.
I am using the trial version of Flopzilla. Is there a free alternative?

So children in need last Friday, work said we could dress up as our childhood heroes or superheroes. They didnt like my Idea of Borat and then I suggest Boris Johnson..looking at there reactions i think they preferred the Borat idea. Anyway it was a good laugh which is change at work.

Poker well took another stab at 4nl and got into two coolers with in an hour and left about 2.5 buyins down. I was trying the anonymous tables and I could tell by bet sizing it was some of the regs because some of them do some dum shit. I remember videos of Jon's I have watched on here with PDDS syndrome, it makes me smile when i fold. The anonymous tables was just perma calling stations any ace and the majority will just call down 3 streets, i found this out the hard way when i was trying to bluff.

Due to being back at work my volume has went down and when i sit down at the weekend I just have a bad hour and stop.

Maybe i should try and push through it but at the same time i don't want to be chasing my losses. One of my standard weekend hands below

Again another awesome critique of your own game - just make sure you follow your own advice and push to fix those leaks as fast as you can. All your leaks look like easy fixes as well and it just seems like in game you are to loose when facing the 4bets and when you are initially 3 betting. One clear mantra to have is to just always think "have a plan and stick to it". It is actually pretty funny as in my head Daniel Craig is saying that to me. I can't tell you how often he pops into my head and says those exact words. If we know something is going to work, it was part of our plan and everything makes sense then stick to it. Don't start messing around calling 4bets, playing silly or getting out of line....HAVE A PLAN AND STICK TO IT.
