Hello guys!

I have played poker on a hobby level and semi seriously for a total of 7 years
made a little bit every year, last year i netted about €10K playing on my freetime while working more than fulltime.

This year i started with a 1000€ deposit wich i have run up to 5500€ in january.

i started at 6max 50nl and started taking shots at 100nl pretty fast.

im now playing as a regular at the 100nl 6 max tables 4 tabling.

sometimes mixing it up with some PLO.

That's about it, i will be posting updates on my journey on this thread, thx!

So are you going to see how far you can take this, or is it a hobby to boost your earnings perhaps? I have no clue about business so I can't even make comment, which is probably why I'm usually broke lol.

I'll watch the progression of crusher and see how he gets on anyway!

February started with some tilting , damageing my bankroll unneccesarily -1500$. playing HU PLO , and 600$ of it was gambled away in the casino

Anyway, i put this behind me and is now focusing on becomming a good winning reg at the 6max 100nl tables to soon be able to move up to 200nl.

February is gonna be all about learning, i decided to hire a coach.
I have now had my first private coaching session with w34z3l , awesome coach!
Already after the first session, i feel like i have improved massively!

He's awsome at finding your leaks to improve your winnings, definitly recommend this guy to anyone wanting to take they're game to the next level.

Remember to invest in yourself, paying for knowledge is super helpful in the longrun!

What are the 3 main things you have learnt?

To me the main 3 things i learned from the first session would be

Ranges ( seems basic, but iv never dug deep enough in this )
Wich hands to play in what position and in what way

Folding

for some reason after reviewing my hands where he explains his thoughts, folding the river in positions where i do feel I'm beat is much easier.

And playing from the BB, how often i should be defending ect.. ect..

Looking forward to the next coaching session

scheduled tuesday next week, gonna try to put in 10 000 total hands til then, 5000 to go

Super rough session today... everything just went wrong, my 3 barrel bluffs got called by gutshots that backed into 4th pair on a flush board
KK vs AA , KK losing against AK , missing everything ect.. ect..

maybe yeah, some days i still just feel like playing. but this day i guess coulda been a good choice to quit

Had a second coaching session with w34z3l, super helpful like always.

been having a rough time,

First of realising i am not as good as i thought i was. ( wich is also a good thing, it makes me work harder )
Running bad with a mix of too much bad plays.

w34z3l always get me on the right track again and boosts my motivation.

this session we reviewed some big hands, played live , bet sizing , bluffing.

Booked another session, planning on doing 1 more after this and then grind hard in march.

Sorry for being nosey but what was the main thing you took away from that last session?

Main thing we have figured out is my biggest leak is my Tilt controlling, mindset ect..

I have had a very tough run lately on 100NL, i decided to drop down to 50NL for a while.

Bought a book from Audible The mental game of poker by Jared Tendler.

Set up a shedule for when i play and take a break every hour.

Can't say much yet after only 1500 hands , but its going well and i feel like im playing much better throughout the whole session.
