thx @Jon-PokerVIP

About to start todays evening, played a short session this morning , i feel like i played well, but the biggest pot of the session went the wrong way.

I had the nuts OTT with a str8 but the OESD and the FD came in OTR and he led all in after calling my big raise OTT , so nothing i can do i just gave it up.

Happy to make those folds, they start to get easier and easier those big folds Smile

oh well, GL GL to me Smile

ProJondi: Sorry for the late answer Smile

Main thing we have figured out is my biggest leak is my Tilt controlling, mindset ect..

I have had a very tough run lately on 100NL, i decided to drop down to 50NL for a while.

Bought a book from Audible The mental game of poker by Jared Tendler.

Set up a shedule for when i play and take a break every hour.

Can't say much yet after only 1500 hands , but its going well and i feel like im playing much better throughout the whole session.

Hi been following the thread and wondered how you got on with the jarred book and if it helped your game in anyway..I've just started reading it and I also noticed there's a part 2

this is a great thread and a great read I've been struggling lately after losing 2 or 3 days in a row and find it hard to motivate myself but I like how you seem to pick yourself up and think about the posatives and goals .

the biggest break through for me with TMGOP was learning that the "mental skill" can be learned.

Before i had just accepted the fact that " i guess this is how i am, im always gonna be a tilt monkey ".

I do alot of things now to help have a stable mindgame.

-I write this blog, sometimes steam off here in the blog and alot of times set goals for the session / for the week.
-I have big texts infront of me saying stuff like "Fold to the river raise! save money!" and "stick to your ranges and we just crush!" ( basicly stuff that i have been struggling with the most ).
- Take a break every 1,5h
-I go for a run every morning and eat a nice breakfast before starting off my morning session ( SUPER HELPFUL! ).
- review my hands, sometimes with @CrazyCookie , its always nice with a second opinion :).

stuff like that. GL Paul Smile keep going man, we can do it!

Yh I recently made a screensaver on my second screen with similar words like focus, patience fold also Vegas and wsop as they are the goals lol...overall I a winning player I just feel I could be doing better ..and I think what tilts me the most is my ego I've always been a winning player playing live mtt and I recently started online and its hard losing to players that I know I am better than and on a live table I'd take to the cleaners so adjusting and giving players a bit more respect is my Mai aim atm

But your right we can do it...gl with the grind mate ill be following

Just focus on playing the best you can against your opponents Online, it's gonna help ur live game also heaps! trust me ! Smile

Getting a coach is also something i do recommend, that was a turning point in my career Smile ,w34z3l has been great for me so i do strongly recommend him Smile 70€/h , definitly worth it!

I have recently started working with a coach (Vonki from pokerstrategy.com) and it has helped me in terms of things I would never thought of when playing a hand, ranges combos ect but I understand the whole online world is a marathon not a sprint and failing or quitting just isn't an option...and yeah w34zel is a genius he's probably the only coach who's videos I watch, his database understanding is second to none

Top work buddy, interesting to see that redline drop at 100nl, different games with the spewtards Wink

MMM looks like solid work and no doubt you and crazy can really help each other a ton!

I have said this for 5 years and it stays the same - 100nl on mpn is softer than 50nl. I dunno why but it is Smile

If you are playing the anon games I will see you around Wink

I'm back!

Haven't been gone for long Laugh but it feels like i have Smile ( i enjoyed my saturday off the tables for once ).

This week have been pretty weak with the grinding, think i have only played around 6-7k hands this week, gonna shoot for makin in 10k today.

It's been a good week still , we are winning money sofar and i feel like im playing good.

Even though i'm winning and i am now comfortably playing at 100NL im going to catch up with w34z3l as soon as he gets back from his vacation Smile

For getting that confidence/motivation boots and keep on grinding Smile Shooting for the stars!

Lets go!

Had a nice morning session, short but effective 2h and 1000 hands, we did end up losing something like 50 bucks but i still felt like a winner, i played well Smile

Lets end this week PEAKING again Smile

Gonna play something like 2-3k hands now Smile anything can happen, LETS GO!

Mid session, takin a break, feeling like im slipping abit after a bad run of cards, AKs all in pre run into AA 3 handed, TPTK in 3bet pot run into bottom 2 vs fish on drawy board. Set over set, could have gotten away OTR and savedd 50 bucks but this time i didnt.

rough start, going for a walk then come back to fight it through

Damit, i tried to stay strong and was making a nice comeback, but they kept screwing me over Worried
I do feel like i played good, but decided to quit on that last 300bb pot :/

This guy just bluffed off a stack the hand before, this is why im only calling pre, was pretty sure he's gonna ship it.

Same guy, i turn my hand into a bluff OTT, and this guy shoves, and im like wtf is he trying to tell me he's got. I felt like he's flushing or totally empty.

And here, OTT im like please be QQ and not AA and he turns this up Worried , i mean its probably an OK call from him preflop. Just wasnt expecting to be beat in this way :/

Oh well, gonna do some database reviews with @CrazyCookie now and end the week still feeling good Yes , lets make next week great!

new week and new challenges, last week of this month.

So far this month have been great to me , i have been takin shots at 100NL and finally feel comfortable playing there Smile

Im thinking about goals , challenges and stuff like that, what comes to mind would be 100K hands in august and not checking the cashier even once Smile
Feels like it should put my focus in the right places Smile would be exciting or terrifying to check the cashier at the end of the month though Smile

I'll think about it, going to try and get some volume in this week though, starting today

Goal 20k hands

100k hands in a month would be epiccccc and seriously exciting to follow!

Might be able to give you some added motivation. Is the account tagged to VIP?
