Nice! I'm grinding, grinding, grinding and don't update this thread while I should. But hard for me to find time for grinding/study plus I got a job and I want to spend time with my family as well.....Don't want to just write few word post a graph and that's it, I want this thread to be more of a ''strategic'' kind of view And It would be great if at least other PLO players post some hands/graphs so we could talk about our beloved game.

Hello once again, haven't been posting cuz things went really really really bad......unfortunatly I went BUSTO in PLO cash gmes had grinded my BR up to 800€ and was playing plo25, dropped to plo10 but just kept losing money. The problem is that like I said at the beginning of this thread I was an MTT player and even though the PLO is a great game I see that I can't stick to playing CASH GAMES. My caracter, my personality, my gameplay is all suited for Tournament play. I see cash games like Tournaments without End. From time to time I even played PLO Tournaments and had 2 1st place finishes + 2 top 3!! Ofcourse the cash games helped but I was more interested in shortstack play and was studying the game in that direction. (It's easyier) All you have to know is the equity of your hand VS opponents range and memorize the equity you need in each SPR situation. (in couple of word at least )
I thought it through and managed to arrange my schedule with my wife(I thank her for all the support she gives me) so I can play at least 4 days a week mtt's and I'll just dive into them. Even though PLO has a place in my heart cuz it's a fun game and won some battles over the mtt's, MTT's eventually won the war! So sorry for my weakness but I got to do what I got to do and mtt's feel ''Right''. I will be cruzing aroung this forum though Have FUN guys cuz it's the only fuel we've got to keep us going!!!

I need your support in PLO games. I started to play PLO this month (again). Struggling at plo10 at the moment, but want to fight it! I think it can be much easier to move up when we are two and we can share progress.

Well, I'm not giving up I'm just switching formats and will put my energy and time to a format that I love better and is more suited for me. If you need an opinion about something just post it here or pm me and I'll be glad to help if I can.

I suppose you already saw Kyyberi's videos here (if not you really should) and since you are starting now you should really check donkr.com PLO from scratch series. Great free articles!! As for books Hwangs are good but old. The new book that I read and really great with charts and everything in it is Mastering Pot Limit Omaha The Modern Aggressive Approach. Really worth every $$ you'll pay.

PLO from Scratch is for 6max and very suitable for up to PLO50. Best free book/articles about PLO there is.

rly? I thought somebody told me it is for fullring. Perfect then will read it very carefully one more time. I know i like it 3 years ago when i tried plo for 1st time

Jeff Hwang's Big Play Strategy is for full ring. Maybe those got mixed.
