Hello my fellow fun players,
It is a new year and with that I wanted to start a new challenge. The last few years poker has started to feel like a bit of a grind and wanted to do something fresh and I thought that I would try to run up a bankroll playing the jackpot poker format. I might end up playing on other networks as the challenge goes on but going to start on Bet Victor since I just got a reload bonus there so that will help grind up at the start. What has encouraged me to start this challenge, well the past November I thought about doing a twitch channel but it was taking up a lot of my time and not really resulting in the content that I wanted. So I kinda thought back to the content that I enjoyed and that was probably produced by one of the pioneers Jason Somerville. I used to really like the Run it up series that he did and like the approach that he had so going to try and put up something similar to that. So I am going to try and keep a vlog up with my progress on this bankroll building channel on my YouTube Channel
So to start I am going to spend the next two - three months building up a roll from $100 to 10k starting at the $1 games. The main focus is going ot be to increase my table count. Currently when I grind I play two tables but would really like to put up solid play at four tables. Currently when I add tables I can feel a big difference in the quality of my play so really hoping that by completing this challenge I will get much better at playing good quality games over four tables and in the end increase my hourly.
I think that I am going to use my bankroll and take shots based on the below guidelines
$250 take shots at $5 games, drop down at $100
$700 take shots at $10 games, drop down at $500
$1500 take shots at $20 games, drop down at $1000
$5000 take shots at $50 games, drop down at $3500
I am going to be very aggressive at the $1 and $5 with the shot taking but I don't think I will go on a -50BI downswing at these stakes so think that this is acceptable.
